We read about entrepreneurial legend Richard Branson proudly defending the marvellous British legal maxim of 'innocent until proven guilty'.........

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/10/15/nmaddy115.xml

Given the extremely limited knowledge about the case thus far, just how awestruck should we be that one man is brave enough to risk public condemnation from people infinitely less important than him by reminding us all of what has made the magnificent British legal system the envy of the world?

This timely reminder of what is most important in this case - the girl - is a lesson to all, and will hopefully send an extremely healthy message to those newspapers whose calamitous reporting is indicative of muddled minds mired in the sort of rabid thinking found in psychotic football hooligans.

The Daily Telegraph is to be applauded for rising above such guttersnipes.

The success of Asian Americans as a group has occurred despite severe discrimination in the previous century, such as, prior to the 1950s, being stereotyped as cheap, uneducated laborers. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, many Americans feared that the western part of the US would be overrun by the "Yellow Peril," prompting initiatives to reduce immigration from Asia, and during World War II thousands of ethnic Japanese citizens were held in "internment camps" in the USA

Constituting only 4% of the U.S. population in 2000, Asian Americans have exceeded 15 to 20% of some of America's most prestigious private universities including the Ivy League, Stanford University, MIT, Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, etc

As of 2000, about 44% of Asian Americans ages 25 or above held a bachelor's degree or higher , as compared to 24% of the whole population

Do you agree that of our society nowadays is actually patriarchal?
(If it is, do you think female should be more protected?)

Do you think the different between the two genders caused as an acquired and cultural character rather than inborn factors?

Do you have any comment on the “family system” now we are having? If I say it is constricting rather than helping the development on female, would you agree?

It seems that the division of labor between the two genders is not as fair, do you think that s because male s exploiting female in some ways?

Have you ever experienced a different treatment just because the different genders among you?

Please try to answer all the questions and indicate which questions you re answering.
Please speific your age and gender.(it s for my furthur research, thanks a lot!)

Determine all significant features by hand and sketch a graph.

f(x)=sinx+cosx

basically, I need to find the first derivative of the function, get x-values, and determine whether increasing or decreasing. Then take a second derivative and determine whether it's concave up/down.
