If God made man in his image, why do so many hateful, bigoted, non-loving people attempt to create God in THEIR image?

MY God loves me and you…regardless of how I feel about you.

My God tells me that all men and women are created equal.

My God tells me that love and respect are the foundation of all human existence, and inseparable from the human condition.

My God tells me that to hate anyone is to deny him.

My God tells me that to judge anyone is to deny him.

My God tells me that if I treat other people the way I want other people to treat me I will know His love.

My God would never accept prejudice.

My God would never condone bigotry and hatred in His name.

My God IS Love.

…now, how did I get all of that out of the Bible? Well, first, I read it. Why do so many people assume they know God and what God would want, do or say and they have almost no real knowledge of what is actually in the Bible?

Why does hate trump love in so much of the world?

I live in Chicago and I'm overwhelmed with copyrights (meaning if I go on Ebay and sell my crochet items, how will I know if the patterns were copyrighted?),doing business within the city, sole propriorship versus a home base business. Trying to persue this could cost lots of money and I have a very limited budget not to mention this is extremely time consuming because there are so many avenues out there. Everyone tells me I should/could sell my items ,I 've been hearing this for years and frankly I could use the money. Here I am again. I have two questions.

I had a friend from Brazil. She had lived in Japan for years. When we were walking in the street together, this woman approahced us and asked how to get to the nearest station. She said she came from France. After a short while, the French lady asked my Brazilian friend, saying ' How do you like Japan so far?' She replied 'I like it here very much'.

Well, Is the expression 'How do you like ~so far?' in this situation commonly used? I know she wanted to ask my friend if she likes Japan or is enjoying her life in Japan. She wasn't a native English speaker and I remember her English was not very good, so I'm just wondering.

A friend, a senior citizen, has suffered the failure of her business and now her home is foreclosed upon. The mortgage co. wants 25 grand in a few weeks, or out she goes. She will be homeless. She has no family that can help, and no friends can help her financially. This kind, sweet lady has a small farm, and rescues unwanted animals. She has about thirty dogs and a number of rescued farm animals.She was planning on opening up a rescue unit as a full-time paying business until this happened. She is in good health and very intelligent. She is afraid of being tossed onto the street, and that her animals will be taken away and euthanized. She is desperate.She is terrified of being put into a nursing home. Is there any agency or organization that might be able to help this woman??

Ok, so during reading, I was bored. So i began writing about my boyfriend. I listed a bunch of things I liked about him and drew many hearts and stuff. I wrote things like "i cant wait to hold you in my arms" and stuff. well i ripped it out of my notebook and was gunna throw it away, but i guess i forgot and stuk it in my desk. well my teacher (a guy teacher) read it and was "really dissapointed in me" he read part of outloud in class!! i am soooo embarrassed! he started lecturing me. (im only 12) saying that i was too young to be doing this and that hugging leads to other stuff. a gurl in my school in 8th grade got pregnant and he doesnt want that to be me. BUT HE IS OVERREACTING! my parents warned me about haing a boyfriend and said i would be in big trouble if i had one. well my teacher is gunna show them the note on report card pik up. I am SOO scared!! what should i do? i said i was sorry and that i dont really do any of that stuff cause i never get to c my bf.
