If God made man in his image, why do so many hateful, bigoted, non-loving people attempt to create God in THEIR image?
MY God loves me and you…regardless of how I feel about you.
My God tells me that all men and women are created equal.
My God tells me that love and respect are the foundation of all human existence, and inseparable from the human condition.
My God tells me that to hate anyone is to deny him.
My God tells me that to judge anyone is to deny him.
My God tells me that if I treat other people the way I want other people to treat me I will know His love.
My God would never accept prejudice.
My God would never condone bigotry and hatred in His name.
My God IS Love.
…now, how did I get all of that out of the Bible? Well, first, I read it. Why do so many people assume they know God and what God would want, do or say and they have almost no real knowledge of what is actually in the Bible?
Why does hate trump love in so much of the world?

Christian God killed thousands of men, women, and children. Remember the Noah's Ark? That's just an example.
Christian God is homophobic, he says being gay is a sin. I'm just a normal human being and I dont understand why gay people should be hated? They may be a pain in the eye for some people (who find anything easily be a pain in their eyes anyway), but they dont steal from us, they dont rape us, they do nothing, they even do more charity than us. I dont undertsand why is it a sin.
Anyway. I'm with a religion, but i'm not gonna tell u what it is, because some other religious lunatics might ditch on my belief. But i'm so happy that my God doesn't kill people, he always give people chances and patiently wait for them (instead of flooding the global !!), if he gets really angry the worst punishment he'll do is locking us up, to let us think about our sin until we finally get it. Yeah, and he loves all people including gays.

alot of the people who spout that hate stuff and the bible said so stuff have never read the bible them selves. they listen to the preachers and what is siad in thier churches and just blindly think " oh yeah! thats the truth it must be cuz this one or that one said it was" lameos!

I agree wholeheartedly. But watch out, they have a comeback, it's the phrase, "hate the sin, not the sinner".

I usually tell people "my God doesn't believe in your religion"...
... and I think that covers how I feel...
