I need help rewriting my resume. All these places I've been using to help me with my resume say things like "Give examples of specific increases you brought about". The trouble with that is that although I've been in the hospitality industry for over eight years, neither of the two jobs I've held have had that particular potential - there is no quantifiable way for me to measure what kind of an impact I've had on the revenue or customer base. (I could make a number up, but that would be dishonest of me, and I am nothing if not honest to a fault.) I'm wanting to move up to a management position, and although I've never done it before, I feel as if I would be very capable. (People aren't born managers!) I've trained others before, I have excellent multi-tasking skills, and I have a personable demeanor that is approachable for both employees and customers. What would be an effective way to showcase my talents, other than using hyperbole and obvious buzzwords? Thanks!

We read that 'The mother of missing Ben Needham (was snatched on the Greek island of Kos 16 years ago, when he was 21 months old.) claimed last night that Madeleine McCann’s parents have been given VIP treatment thanks to “friends in high places”.

Office worker Kerry, of Sheffield, said of the couple: “I think because of their status they have friends in high places.

“Unfortunately, we are just an ordinary working-class family and I don’t think people thought Ben was important enough."

Do you agree with Ben Needham's mother, that these two Professional, media hungry, suspected criminal cretins are getting the VIP treatment ?

Where am I supposed to get all this time from? I am raising a toddler and because I am home every day I feel as though I should be doing all the house duties as well and I get torn between cleaning, working or visiting friends who dont seem to understand that I need to actually DO my work to get money for it. I have a small business and it only makes as much as I have time for. How do you cope with working, family and friends, how do you divide and manage your time, I do not have day care or a consistant babysitter so basically during my daughters nap time I do packaging and at night or weekends I can do the actual work part. Please give me some good advice : ) Thanks
