We have a belly button because that is where the umbilical cord was attached.

If Adam and Eve werent born, but created, then why would they have an umbilical cord.

That is why the question is asked.

Because a belly button is a scar from the umbilical cord which is attached to a fetus in their mother's womb. According to the Bible, Adam and Eve were created by the hand of God as adults and were never fetuses.

The belly button is the scar tissue remaining after the severing and tying off of the umbillical cord. Because A & E were alledgedly not born of woman, they would not have had a cord, and thus no belly button. Adam may have had a rib-ectomy scar, though.

People say that because our belly button comes from the umbilical cord we have in our mother’s womb.

Omphalos!
The proposition that the Earth was created with apparent age... mature trees etc. and so Adam and Eve *would* have had navels, even though they didn't need them, not having had mothers. See URL below

It's an old, old, debate.
Google images of Adam and Eve, to note that some classic paintings show navels, and some don't!

They weren't born (Adam was made of dirt and Eve was made out of a rib), therefore no umbilical cord, therefore no belly-button.

Where does it say that in Genesis? Not in my bible.

Answer: We don't know because God didn't tell us.
