i've been interested in the '93 through '97 nissan altimas and am just wondering are they good cars to customize over doing a '70 dodge challenger 340/six pack with an automatic

Normally, I'm in full agreement with JohnPaul, but not this time.

The first-gen Alty is a great platform for mods, and there's a ton of aftermarket support for them.

Here's the world's fastest first-gen Altima, which will pummel any "musclecar" in existence - 12.7 in the quarter-mile!

4 cyl put put VS hemi challenger or 440? Please stick to what you know. Altima 1993 to 2001 are just 7 to 15 year old front wheel drive grocery getters. Blowing money for wheels and tires or builting up a 340 with cool parts and hear that V-8 roar?
