Then do you believe the historians who say it was put in December to give pagans something to celebrate and draw them into the faith, while at the same time covering up the fact that other beliefs exist? Or is it something more? (BTW, December 25th isn't Christ's birthday because the census was not in winter, and shepherds watched their flocks mainly in spring\summer). Some theorize that people counted 9 months from was was set as Christ's conception date, which would be March--the Incarnation.

i am planning to get contacts next year and i'm really nervous. i'm probably not the best person to be getting contacts... but i think they look better on me than glasses and glasses are such a hassle. i'm just really worried about putting them in and taking them out. i'm terrified of touching my eye... and i've tried and if i touch my eyelid i'm flinching. i've touched my eye before and it's not that bad.. but i'm just really worried that something might go wrong if i flinch trying to put it in. and are there any good tips on how to take them out? i'm more worried about taking them out than putting them in! i could use a lot of advice. please help!

There is a fascinating article in Science News about it this week, and it sounds like a wonder herb! The article lists improvement in sleep, better able to handle stress, depression relief, improved stamina, boost of mental energy, and correction for diabetes. It sounds like the Soviet Union has been studying the effects for 60 years and found it did wonderful things for their athletes. I was wondering if anyone had tried it and had an opinion of its use?

I have vague memories of a show that I liked when I was a kid about dinosaurs. It was about a family of dinosaurs, there was a mom, a dad, a brother, a sister, a baby, a grandmother. I think the baby had that catch phrase “im the baby gotta love me.” I could be wrong but I think they were puppets or robots or something.

You know what I’m talking about? What was the name of that show? I thought it was “the dinosaurs” but I searched and couldn’t find it.
