I broke my inner Tibia in my left ankle 5 weeks ago, from being bucked off a horse.
A week later I had surgery. 2 screws.

I am now a stupid walking boot.

Because I have lost so much muscle, my docter/surgerion is having my do the ABC's with my big toe. Which does make me twist and turn and what not but I don't see a lot of progress.

I was wondering is there any exercises that will help gain back muscle.

I have tried walking with the boot (with crutches) but I'm afraid to put 30 pounds on my left leg (even though I'm instructed too.)



anything will help.

SO i drink water allll day long probably 9 or 10 glasses a day idont drink soda just becuase it is loaded with calories ( i love it though and miss it) what can i drink besides water.....ice tea lemonade

It never fails. I get one of those pink slips of paper in my mailbox and a shudder runs down my spine. A trip to the post office is nigh. Most posting I do, I do from home or when I do drive to the post office I can use the automated post system (one of the greatest inventions EVER!) But the little pink slip requires me to stand in line and actually interface with one of the postal workers (whom I hope is not packing...hahaha). All the evil little paper slip requires is for the postal worker to step in the mysterious back room and appear with my package. However, it sometimes takes up to 10 minutes (after waiting 20+ min in line) to retrieve a simple package. What happens in this mysterious back room? Are packages strewn willy-nilly requiring workers to sort through everything until the item is found? Do they go on smoke breaks? Do they travel to the point of origin to pick up the item in person from the sender?

Is organization in the back room so bad or is it a lack of motivation?

is there a possible way i can get 1.39535 on pen and paper without calculator?

suppose i was taking a test without a calc and i got the answer that i did the long division way? would my answer be wrong? because the calc is telling me 1.39535!

For example, is it right for people like Britney Spears & K-Fed to become parents when it is so painfully obvious that they can barely take care of themselves?

And for normal Americans the test would be quite easy (like passing your drivers license test at the DMV). They'd only have to take it once & then they could have as many kids as they want. But a test would also weed out people who obviously have no right to have children & keep those reject parents from creating reject kids with their terrible parenting skills.

Two days ago I handed in an application at Barnes and Noble because my current job only gives me 15 hours per week, which is obviously not enough to pay for rent. I didn't expect to hear from Barnes and Noble so soon (only a few hours), and today after an interview I got hired full time starting next week. I can't keep my current job any longer due to schedule conflicts, so the only option I have now is to quit. The problem is that I'm afraid it's rude to my current boss to quit on him so abruptly and without giving him a two week notice to hire someone else. And it's not like I don't like my current job, it's just that I need more hours than what my current boss can possibly give me in order to pay the bills. So what am I supposed do? How should I break it to my boss?
