I'm a california resident and I bought a used car in North Carolina. I am planning on flying to North Carolina to drive the car across country. Because the car doesn't have a license plate, I went down to the CA DMV to register the car, but they only gave me a temporary permit (red square piece of paper that I'm supposed to stick on the rear of my windshield).

With this piece of paper, am I okay to drive without a license plate on the back of the car from the East coast to the West Coast?

I've already taken out an insurance policy on the car, if that helps your answers.

I can understand if the clock time is low and the high scoring team wants to just end the game and not risk the ball, but I see teams who command a huge lead (8 points or more), yet will still do it! Why dont they attempt a long pass to possibly put even more points on the scoreboard and to possibly add to a QB and the receiver's ratings?

It's been more than 10 years since they came up with the list for the NBA's 50th anniverary. So if you were tasked to add 10 players to the NBA's 50 Greatest Players, making it the NBA's 60 Greatest Players, which players would you choose?

Remember, "the list comprises the [sixty] best and most influential players of the first half-century of the NBA, with respect not only to performance at the professional level but in consideration of sportsmanship, team leadership, and contributions to the growth of basketball."

Although some broadcasters came up with such a list last year (Jason Kidd, Kevin Garnett, Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Bob McAdoo, Dominique Wilkins, Reggie Miller, Connie Hawkins, Tim Duncan, Gary Payton), I'd like to get other people's take on this.

i want someone to hold me so bad, i want someone to take care of, i want someone to kiss and hug and smile with, i want sex on a regular basis, i want someone who makes me want to get up in the morning and look forward to the day. i don't think i'm ever gonna find it, how will i ever be happy? am i just destined to go through life without ever feeling that happiness, and being completely miserable?

What is the best way to make the following setup safer from break-in. I realize that if someone wants to get in, they will, but how could I deter them more with the following setup:

It looks pretty simple to me...break the glass pane, reach in and unlock the door. Is there some way that's not totally unappealing to the eye to make it harder to get the door open? Would it be possible to put safety glass in the panes closest to the lock that would match the rest of the panes?

Any ideas? I guess when it comes down to it, it would be just as easy for someone to just break one of the huge enclosed windows and climb in. I'm buying this house and don't feel real safe. Maybe a 12 gauge and an alarm system are my best bet?

it all started the last week in may i noticed i was very fatigued all i wanted to do was seep. then i noitced i have very stiff joints all over my body wrist elbo knee ankle and everyware else also i have een more fatiged and tired headaches and and also i have been getting a lot of stomach problems like gastro-esphagale reflx disease also Gastritis thats when ur linning of ur stomach gets raw. could any of this be related i have been tested for almost everything mono,thyroid,dibetes,and i just got tested for Lyme disease but all was negative. and i got an MRI and it was fine o i forgot the nerves in my face are very stiff to and i get pain in my ears to. what is really making me upset is nobody has even tried to answer i dint care if it was something they no i dont have i just want some kind of answers. i feel like that mystery diagnosis show now i no what they are going through. i have been like this 5 months and i am going to give up with doctors but i want to be a doctor
