I only know when of the rxn of diamond to graphite is highly nt kinetically feasible cos the enthalpy is very very small.

In order for a reaction to be neither exothermic nor endothermic, the products of the reaction would have to be on the same energetic level as the products.

My gut tells me that this will never be the case. Basic kinetic theory tells us that reactions will run so that the overall energy of the system decreases. I cannot think of a time where the products and reactants would be at the exact same energy level.

If someone wishes to provide a counterexample to my claim, I would be very interested in seeing it.
