It was about just what I've been saying....too many kids are being diagnosed with bipolar..when they're not...And..too many are being given too much medicine. The little girl on there died from being prescribed too much clonodine. JUST BE CAREFUL!!! Just because a dr. says something ...doesn't mean it's true. You have to use your common sense too and RESEARCH, RESEARCH , RESEARCH !!! What do you think about this "bipolar fad"??

I regard myself as a Christian, however I do not believe in churches as such. I believe no one needs to speak to their god through a middle man and nor do they need to congregate in order to be a 'good' christian.

I also do not criticise religious beliefs that conflict with mine as who am I to criticise others?

Yet a lot of supposed christians believe I am not christian because I do not attend church etc.

So, what DOES it take to be a chritian is my question, I refuse to believe I am so wrong in my thing

I've noticed, (w/ emphasis on I) that girls are doing little acts of chivalry. I was walking back to my dorm, and when I approached the door, a girl inside opened the door for me (not because she wanted to leave, she was having a conversation with a friend). so i took on of those home pregnancy tests,and sure enough if tested positive.
i really dont need another child right now in my life.
I was on birthcontrol but stopped it because i thought it was breaking me out with a rash,and aside from that me and my husband have a really bad sex life on my part ...maybe twice a month....now WE both decided we DONT need another baby.

am i wrong to go and get an abortion?

financial problems yes,dental problems yes,new job i got involves heavy lifting and i was lucky to get a job i cant afford to lose it, i support a 6 persons family and making 22,000 a year combined isnt easy.i feel my child i do have doesnt get the rightful attention needed.

and i wouldnt let a child of mine live with strangers.
i am in a horrible neighborhood infested with drugs and violence and i am struggling to move.

This is for those of you who posted that you would prefer a christian teacher for your children...and for those of you who think that somehow an atheist or homosexual couldn't be as good or better than a christian one.

Do you really believe that? I'm an atheist and a teacher-and a darn good one if I may say (or at least the parents and children say). If you found out that I was an atheist and your child was in my class, would that be a problem?

I am an intelligent, tolerant, and kind person who believes that no views on religion or politics should be talked about or implied by ANY teacher at any time. That is not my job and I would personally be horrified if any teacher of my own child shared their views on faith or politics within their classroom.

Your thoughts?

I have been looking for jobs like crazy. I currently work for Staples and I want to work somewhere else that's paying more. I've been on CareerBuilder and HotJobs but I am getting tired of searching there. Most jobs I look at want 2 or 3 yrs plus experience or degree. I am still in college for goodness sake. I've been looking for administrative/secretarial positions but the experience is like a list. I live in Northern Virginia which is very expensive and I need a job that will support me. Any advice.

Is it something in human nature? So many of them were alive during the Third Reich and the response during that time was to do nothing. So many of them must have saw what was happening to the Jews (getting kicked out of their homes, etc) and had to have had at least a slight idea of what was going on (Some of the books I have read seem to confirm this).

Yet after the war the response was to ban everything associated with Hitler and the Nazis. Now to have parades, symbols, etc associated with the Nazis is illegal.

To me it's completely fake. These people were willing to do nothing or aide in the Final Solution and now they act like nothing has happened and that they did nothing wrong. I guess in the end the people that are still alive from that time period are the ones that have to live with themselves and that they are blaming it on Hitler and a few individuals.
