Compare how people reacted to Harry Potter, and how people everyday react to the bible.

I am a christian and I love the Harry Potter books. So I must be going to hell right? Jeeze.

Anyway. When Harry Potter came out, many people...TONS of people said it was a horrible and awful book. People judged it, talked about it when they havent even READ it!!! Basically, they looks like idiots cause they were saying how stupid and evil it was when in reality they have never even picked up the book.

Same thing with the bible.
people say "Well if prayer works the pray for God to prove himself" and tons of other things....Well, if you had acutally stuck your nose in the bible you would know that it doesn't work that way.
People judge the bible. Talk about the bible...and yet they havent even read it.

Why should you be agrueing something when you dont even know anything about the somthing your talking about?

I'm a vegetarian (most of the time) and I was wondering which is a good type of solid cheese that's flavorful (monterey jack, perhaps?) and I can combine in a sandwich with mustard (or mayonnaise) and some vegetables.
Please no suggestions for grilled cheese, just isnt as wholesome.

You can see it on the Yahoo "most emailed photos" section. The guy paints portraits in the nude using his "male member." I don't know what is worse...That someone would try to earn a living that way or that someone would actually pay to have a portrait done that way. I mean ewwww!

My wife and I live in Fort Myers, FL and hate it. We have been to San Jose a few times and liked it very much. We are curious about the job market and what is it like to live in San Jose. We have read many postings about how high the cost of living is but have also heard that you have the opportunity to make a lot of money to compensate for it. The question is: when two waves interfere constructively or destructively, is there any gain or loss in energy?
The answer is that the total energy of the pair of waves remains the same because energy missing from zones of destrctive interference appears in zones of constructive interference.
However, if the standing wave has ONLY constructive of destructive interferance, what happens? The answer does not touch on that. Why is there no gain or loss in energy?

We have a 2 year old son with Autism. He cant talk yet. But when he is alone in his room at night, he likes to talk to himself.

Some of our friends came over for dinner last night. they thought it was weird, but cute. So we set up a videp tape in his room, shut the door, and we all sat in the living room as quite as we could. About 1 hour later, we went back in his room and got the tape. We all watched it toghether. Our son was pointing at the celing, laughing, snmiling, and talking. Then, we all heard a man's voice whisper "Turn Your Head." I am terrified now, because i dont know what to think. I know it was real, becasue no one was in his room but him! And the only way someone could get into his room is if they went past me. There was no t.v, radio, or anything on.

This is our first house. We moved here in April. The house was build in the early 1900's. The man that lived here before us past away here. I dont really believe in ghost, but how do i explain that voice on da tape
