I wondered if it is all considered the occult. Whether one goes with the other,or whether they are two completley different things?

Spiritualism is a religion
it is based spirit communications
it has nothing to do with astrology ... although some in the religion may enjoy astrology but that would be a personal choice
Spiritualism may be considered the occult by some who think everything to do with the paranormal is occult
personally , I do not relate it to the occult
it is a beautiful religion

they can be linked. it depends on one's individual viewpoint.
some people consider astrology "occult." But then, some people consider Star Wars and Harry Potter occult as well.

both are occult and God does not approve of them for His children
they can be combined in a persons life, but are two separate practices
(other user misunderstands the question, as you didn't ask about spirituality but spiritualism)

Astrology tells you about the stars and their surroundings, these are two different things dear.
Spiritualism, is very special to those who trust in God and the teachings of the prophets etc,.,
This is a step which takes you nearer to the best life after death.

Occult, evil, forbidden,there is even a story of a man running begging Jesus to save Him,Jesus replies let your astrologer save you.
Barbara you are so wrong,spiritualists do not believe in God.
Ask the pangel who says it is a beautiful religion,it is occult contacting dead and not a religion.

Astrology is more of a sort of science (I'm not confusing it with astronomy, by the way). It involves mathematical precision, and it's not really religious or spiritual.

all things supernatural, unscientific, and fabricated are related to some extent. If not only by the areas of the brain that have to be inactive in order to actually believe in that hocus pocus

you know that's interesting I was reading an article about this yesterday.. ancient Egyptians, religion and astrology.. they worshiped the sun and the signs..
