The concert Ab scale is the clarinet scale of Bb ( Bb, C, D , Eb, F, G, A, Bb) . Concert scales are transposed up one step to get the scale to be played by the clarinet. The concert Eb scale would be the clarinet F scale, the concert F scale would be the clarinet G scale, concert Gb scale would be the clarinet Ab scale and so forth.

Your question is unclear.

If you are asking what concert scale is being played when the Bb clarinet is playing an Ab scale, then the answer is Gb/F#.

If you are asking what scale the Bb clarinet is playing when the concert scale is Ab, then the answer is Bb.

When the director calls for a concert pitch scale, go up to half steps and start on that scale. Using half-steps instead of steps helps me remember the accidentals.

If he asks for Ab concert -- start on Bb (two half steps are Ab to A and A to Bb)

If he asks for C concert then you start on D (C to Db/C# and Db/C# to C)

This works for all of the scales when going from concert pitch to Bb clarinet (or trumpet or baritone or tenor sax...)

To go the other way -- just go down two half steps.

If you are playing a scale that starts on D and you need to know what the concert pitch is then you go down from D. (D to Db and Db to C) That means your D scale is C concert.

The Ab major concert scale on a Bb instrument is:

Bb C D Eb F G A Bb (the key of Bb has two flats, Bb and Eb)
