What does a person from Mississippi have in common with someone from Oregon? Or a city dweller in Chicago with a farmer in Kansas? Given it's political leanings, would New York and New England be more comfortable in a confederation with Canada? 3 wks ago I started getting mentrual-like cramps that was targeted mainly on my left side. After about 2 wks of that I went to the Health Center at the college I go to and saw a Physician. She did a pelvic exam and I had some blood work done. Now after 2 1/2 wks of cramping the pain turned into general pelvic pain, the pain doesn't feel like cramping anymore... it's worse! So I went back to the Health Center she says that all the tests she did on me came out normal and so she doesn't know what else she can do for me but suggest that I go to a Gynecologist. My problem is that I don't have any health insurance, the only thing I have is Family Pact & it might cover another pelvic exam by the Gyn but nothing else. I might have to have an ultrasound done & would have to pay that cash. So far the cheapest Gyn I've been able to find is $100 for consult (might not have to pay that b/c I have Family Pact) & $100 for an ultrasound. Should I just apply for health insurance now ($144/mo +$50 cpay)

Okay, so I don't really care, but my friend does. I'm almost 15, and she's 16, but neither of us have had a boyfriend! We are both pretty tall, I'm 5'8 and she's 5'7. Everyone tells us we're really pretty, and stuff, we both take honor classes, and get good grades, and we play a lot of sports. We have alot of guy friends, but no boyfriend, lol. Then, on the other hand, there's this super rude girl in our class, she has acne, and is around 5'3, and she has had a ton of boyfriends! Why is that? Well, thanks everyone!


BTW: We're super outgoing, in alot of clubs, and have a ton of frinds, and she's mean and rude, and talks about people behind their backs!

Also, I'm pregnant with a little girl. What do you think she'll look like? I have deep red/brown (auburn) hair and blue eyes. My husband has light brown hair and blue eyes. Our first daughter, Tessa, has strawberry-blonde hair and violet eyes (seriously). My grandmother and my husband's great-grandfather (I believe) both had violet eyes as well.
What do you think Teagan Lily (my little girl) will look like?

Given how often U.S. citizens speak of freedom and how the U.S. is the supposed bastion of freedom, I am curious as to how well the citizens know their First Amendment rights. WITHOUT looking up the answer, can you list what rights are guaranteed by the First Amendment?

I was NOT able to list them all, having missed two. Given how often we speak of freedom, I would think that we all should know at least what those freedoms are.

i know, i know. it's not proper to include gift details or gift preference anywhere in the invitation as guests aren't expected to bring gifts in the first place. But we all know for a fact that guests DO bring gifts and since I'm getting married in a place halfway around the planet, I'm not planning on boxing and shipping back home all the boxed gifts we will receive. We would love to receive cash as gifts but we don't want to sound as if we're asking for it.

Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Thanks!

Okay here is the company lineup...two brothers who own the place and two office workers...me - been here 4 years and another girl - been here 12 years. We spend all day in an office alone together. She is constantly calling me stupid and yelling at me in completely unprofessional ways. I addressed this with my boss once already and it stopped temporarily but now she is doing it again. Today she belittled me to where I was almost in tears. How do I again bring this up to my boss without it sounding like we are just two females having a cat fight?
