Being raised Catholic I believe that only other Catholics would ever have this happen. What I mean is that I don't see other religions pray to Mary like we do or have a connection w/ her like we do. Do you think that Psychologically all of the years of praying to Mary have overwwhelmed her into thinking this way or do you think Mary has came to her in some way?

I certainly don't know what to think anymore. Of course I'm inclined to believe she may have been touched by Mary in some way and thus She speaks trough her. I also understood that's precisely what the nun founder is saying.

What I don't understand is if the nuns changed their version after the excommunication or it was a misunderstanding, a misinterpretation or someone else's accusation. Apparently, the archdiocese just knew about her claiming to be Mary incarnate and saw heresy. How did they find out?

About Mary's virginity, I guess I'm a bad catholic, since I rather place my faith between Him and me alone, but I don't think it really matters as much as the Church insists. She was the mother of Christ, Son of God and God Incarnate, we all believe that, so let's focus on that, OK? Fighting over things like that, defending dogmas as truth (but who's?), stuff like that is what I believe as being the masterpiece of Satan's work. We're so busy lashing at each other about that we forget Jesus' message of love. It's ridiculous.

Also, I don't wanna pick a fight, but last time I look, the DaVinci code was fiction. Also, as painful as can be, what the book says makes a lot of sense, but then again, it can't convince me to stop believing, as lousy a catholic I am.

It's just the latest heresy. All these nuns had to do was end their membership in this little organization and recant. But, they didn't. Once in a while the Church has to remind the members of the Body of Christ about discipline. That the Church is "Mater Et Magister" (Mother and Teacher). But, I'm sure each of them will make some degree of financial success peddling their story on the talk shows.

Everything it says approximately the Cathoic church is fake. It is a instead awkward and unscholarly try to construct a straw guy after which to sentence that production. the difficulty is that the straw guy does no longer resemble the Catholic church. It is unhappy to look Scriptures misused this fashion. As Jesus warned us, the arena will hate us because it hated Him and that is simply an strive to attract the vulnerable of mind and motive away for the Church. Such ravening wolves as those have regularly been the device of Satan. God bless! In Christ Fr. Joseph

I am not a Catholic. I am a Lutheran Protestant. I think this question sounds insane. Sorry, I do not want to upset you. But all this Holy shrine subject about the Holy Mother Mary, makes me wanna puke. Cause, I do not think that Mother Mary is that holy. I have a hard time believing in her virginity, when she was married to Joseph, and than all over sudden bore a son called Jesus. Somewhat it's irretating me this whole darn issue. Cause, so much is in the Divincie Code encripted, that I wonder whether or not half of that stuff is made up by man kind> So for me I do not believe in that stuff. Cause I am making and forming my own opinion.

I'm not a Catholic, so I apoligize for answering, but I think I can say something constructive anyway :-) The devil attacks each of us where we are weak; for this poor woman it might be her pride, her love of and desire to be like Mary, her false belief in re-incarnation. So yeah, this would be more likely to be an attack used by Satan against a member of the Catholic church of Rome, but as members of the greater catholic church of Christ we all share in being tempted, just in different ways.
