According to today's regulators and bereaucrats, those of us who were kids in the 50's, 60's and 70's shouldn't have survived, because...

Our cots were covered with brightly coloured lead-based paint which was chewed and licked.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles or latches on doors on cabinets and it was fine to play with pans.

When we rode our bikes, we wore no helmets just flip-flops and fluorescent 'clackers' on our wheels.

As kids we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Riding in the front was a treat.

We shared 1 drink with 4 friends, from 1 bottle or can and no 1 actually died from this.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle - it tasted the same.

We did not have Play stations or X-Boxes, no video games at all, no 99 channels on TV, no videotape movies, no surround sound, no mobile phones, no personel computers, no Internet chat rooms. We had friends - we went outside and found them.

There's a lot more...Toe.

Europe is voting on banning any scientific evidence that supports creationism from the public schools. This reminds me of Hitler buring books the Nazi Party didn't agree with.

Shouldn’t the schools let the evidence speak and not censor things simply because it could have religious implications? Why the need censor this evidence? What ever happened to the free flow of information?

I ran System Configuration and unchecked "Apdproxy" in the Start Up tab. Now, everytime I reboot, I get this message: "System Configuration is in Selective or Diagnostic Start Up causing this message to be displayed and the Utility to run with every Windows Start Up. Choose Normal and undo changes." But I don't want to undo the changes. I unchecked "apdproxy" for a reason."

Is this message just telling me that I've made a change or does it have a problem with what I've done?

Is it ok to check the box under the message - the one saying not to show the message again and not to run the Utility on start up? Or would checking that box be a bad thing?

Ok so I've done plenty of research to see that Global Warming clearly isn't real, and I'm getting annoyed with people claiming that it is real just because they choose to believe people like Gore who are trying to get money. Anyway if your like me, and agree with me on this, we really get the plus side. Yes we can help the enviroment but at least we who did the research don't have to freak out about the earth getting flooded out so we can just sit back, relax, and watch everybody else freak out. Does anybody side with me on this?
