Right my situation is I am 27yrs old and live with my mum in her council house. I am disabled and have been since I was little, I have leukodystrophy. I feel as if evrything that I do or say is wrong and the thing is I just want out of her grasp as I feel as if she is controlling me and everything that I do. For instance this morning she came upstairs and said that her dog Cain had jumped on the settee to look through the window as she was knelt on it and she was really pleased that he was copying her. Now she went downstairs to move the car off the drive to let the two dogs out and I went downstairs into the room and I let our cain out of the cage he sleeps in and he jumped on the settee and when my mum came in she played hell with me and said do not interfere with my dog. They are not allowed on the settee's and you shouldnt have let him out. Now to me this sounds a bit double standards and one rule for one and one rule for another. Please tell me your opinion's on this? thank you

Someone just said this, the full quote is "No, because gays are not allowed in heaven you read the bible its a sin."

Obviously this person is someone who hasn't read the bible because they would know everyone sins, the only sinless person was Jesus and we can repent....

agree?

What was the stupidest / most expensive thing you bought while rather tipsy? I used to get collared by all the assistants in the beauty departments and because I'd had one or two I'd end up buying all these products I didn't even want but just couldn't say no to :( Maybe that's why my finances are in such a state now - ooops!

I was making kind of a joke to someone and I told them that I was going to put one motor in the front and in the back of the car! He told that it's possible! That with a computer that controls the engines it could be done! Is it possible?

By flock effect I mean that raised, velvet-like finish often used to apply a floral pattern to textiles or wallpaper. I'm interested in trying to do it myself on a suit jacket or t-shirt. Is applying it a process that can be done at home or is it altogether more industrial (expensive machinery; noxious chemicals; etc.)? I asked a textiles guy at John Lewis and he had no idea whatsoever. Has anyone personally done this?

I am travelling to see my sister who lives about 10 hours away on thursday. I need advice and suggestions on how to keep a 2.5 yr and 5 yr old occupied. I know they will sleep some of the way, and I am asking my best friend to borrow her portable DVD player tommorrow but that isn't going to keep them occupied the whole way. I have got 2 new colouring in books and pencils/markers and some small toys and books but am looking for other suggestions or what worked for you on a long trip. I will be travelling by myself (hubby is working) so I don't have anyone else in the car to help me out and can't stop every 5mins either as I don't want to travel in the dark. I plan on stopping at least every 2hours for 15-30mins so this is figured into the 10 hr trip but they have never done this long before so I don't know how they will handle it.

Can anyone help!!
