I wanted a cat ,so I looked in the newspaper and found someone giving a two year old cat away cause thier parent who owned the cat had died, the woman told me that he was very shy he was living with another male whom is his brother and a female cat whom was a couple years older. She told me the two males picked on the female alot , well anyway I bring the cat home and it continues to hide in my room under my reclyning chair and at around four and five in the morning it begins to meow or cry or what ever for about a hour , but it won't come out to eat or drink water , what I want to know is , is this cat going to get over it or just die from fright or loneliness or what? and what can I do?

care that my ex husband is missing( or should I say jumped parole). He spent 7 years in prison and has never spent a dime on my son or hasn't seen my son in 6 years, my son is 10! I found out he is missing because I was really pushing the child support thing and the child support officed called his parole office, his parole officer told us that he has been missing for 3 months and when they find him. He is going back to prison. I truly dislike the jerk he was a horrible husband , he beat me and did drugs& drank all the time. He wouldn't keep a job. The best thing I ever did was leaving him! I have been calling people actually his grandmother I am close with to see if anybody has heard from him. I'm real close with his grandmother she would tell me the truth about them seeing him. Should I care that they are looking for him or should I mind my own business and not tell the police where he is if I find out where he is?Or do you understand why I care?

I grew up in a small town where if a funeral was on your road you pulled your car over as a sign of respect and let them go by. The other day I was driving down the highway and passing on the left, didn't realize until the very front of the line that I was passing a funeral procession. In town I always pulled over for funerals, but what about highway travel? And even in town, does anyone see this being done any more? People get mad and honk even if I pull over for an ambulance or fire truck any more, so I don't know what kind of reaction I'd get for pulling over for a funeral. Anyone know what the proper etiquette is here?

Have you men noticed that if your shave your face more often, the faster your hair grows? or is this just a myth?

Personally, my leg hairs grow just as fast if I shave everyday compaired to say, weekly.

i have been with my "fiance" for 4 years now.. and i love him (of course) jus that its getting boring now. I believe b/c there is no money to be SPENDING. I am a student and he works but for NEEDS...HELP? im sure there are things to do out there to spark this up again... i just dont know what i live in a boring, expensive place. lol... i dont want this to "die". I have a pair of baby red ear sliders, they play all day and eat well. I bought a feeding suppliment to help them want to eat. They eat almost anything you puty in the ater. They seem to be hungry all the time. I saw somebody say they are beggers and I know mine sure are. But my main question is I have heard turtles are loners. When I bought my babies earlier this month, they have been together ever since birth they do everything together they even bask together. Should I worry that my turtles go against the grain and get along well and play together and bask together?
