Odd question, I know, but as far as formal ship etiquette goes, is it proper for the captain to disembark first, and the crew follow as a sign of respect? Or does the captain disembark last because he/she is expected to stay with the ship the longest?

It seems Israel was created by the League of Nations and the United States in response to the horrific events of WWII - and I was just wondering if the state of Israel would have been created if WWII or the Holocaust never happened. What do you think?

I know he broke his nose the other night, but has it been decided who he will skate with to start the season? I am curious because I am trying to decide Between him and Viktor Kozlov. Sykora is better but Kozlov just got the nod to start the season on Ovie's line. Any insight is appreciated

I saw an animated (cartoon) movie when I was younger, and I cannot remember the title. I can only remember bits of it, but if you have any idea of what it might be, please let me know!

It was about a little boy. I remember there being a light under a door and he opens it to find a train speeding towards him. In another part, he is in his bed in the middle of a very large body of water with lights in the distance. He ends up being taken to this place that is very bright and colorful, and everyone is happy there. I remember slimy monsters coming out of a swamp, trying to capture him. And I remember one scene, where he is by a giant door, with a key, and he is trying to get up high enough to put the key in the door. There was a lot of dark, slimy stuff like from the swamp, I think, in that part.

If you can offer any suggestions as to what this movie may be, I would appreciate it very, VERY much.

Ok I work at a gym at the front desk. I am in college and have only worked there about a month now. Well I am a pretty shy and reserved person.. well today after work, the manager which is also a personal trainer, called me into his office to tell me that I am not being outgoing and high strung like he wants me to be and that he wants me to pretty much be jumping at people when they walk in the door. Well I am just not that person and I tell ppl hello, how are you, and goodbye, have a nice day when they leave very nicely and the manager says I am doing the "bare minimum." I really dont think he likes me b/c I dont flirt with him or wear revealing clothes like some of the other girls do. He is always rude to me and acts like he dont really like me or want me there. I get alot of compliments from customers at work, thats why I dont understand why he is telling me all this. I think he is making excuses to let me go even tho he said he would give me a 2nd chance. What should I do?

the fact that most of our politicians are Christians, and almost all of those holding the highest offices are Evangelical Christians -- and most Americans say they would never vote for a candidate they knew was an atheist?

How can atheists claim they have a equal voice in this country when they don't even have equal representation?

I graduated from college and have applied for hundreds of jobs. I got my degree in film and started with entertainment industry jobs, after a while i opened to anything. Right now it seems really impossible for me to get anything. I've had about 10 interviews at different places but i'm never there choice, i've been really close a few times but never in. I'm willing to relocate ANYWHERE and work anything as long as i can get full time. But nobody wants to give me a chance. I know i am a good worker and i take my jobs very seriously but i feel like nobody will even give me a chance.
I've tried online things, mailing, going in, and even a temp agency but nobody, nobody will do anything.

What can i do? I'm so lost, i dont even know where else to try.
