Why would being an atheist make a candidate unelectable? Seems that Rational thinking of an atheist would be an admirable quality, especially with what we know about religion and it's dwindling likeliness. Fact.....Jesus has no known writings...ever. His execution was not recorded by Pontius Pilate (whom kept detailed records of such things.) Furthermore, noone that wrote the Bible had ever actually met Jesus...It is more possible that he is a mythological god than even ever being a real person. So with this in mind, why is it that our elected officials must be religious in some way or another? Wouldn't that just be asking for an uneducated fool

Im auctioning off items regularly on Ebay, but all the stuff I sell is going for about half of what i bought the items for originally. My question is would i have to pay taxes on the items if i am selling on ebay?

Note: I'm not doing this as a business, im just trying to get rid of stuff that is cluttering up my house.

On my homework I am asked to compute the derivative using the defintion of the derivate, and then later am asked to interpret the derivative by plugging in a number. Here is what I had to derive:

h(x)=3x-7 using definition of derivatives I get:

h'(x)=lim (1/h)[g(x+h)-g(x)] = lim (1/h)[3(x+h)-7-(3x-7)]
h->0 h->0

=lim (1/h)[3x+3h-7-3x+7] 3x and -3x cancel, so do 7's
h->0

=lim (1/h)[3h] the h's cancel so I get 3/1
h->0

therefore h'(x)=3 here comes the confusing part

I am asked to compute equation of tangent line to
h(x)=3x-7 at x=-13
I know tangent line eq. is y= f(a)+f ' (a)(x-a)
if we say that f ' (a) is h ' (-13) and a is -13, how in the world do I plug in a -13 into h'(x)=3 ?? Is the answer always 3? I am guessing it is constant since h(x)=3x-7 looks like eq-n of a straight line, but I need confirmation.

Nahui Ollin – The End of the Fifth Era
Source: Aztec mythology
What to watch for:
A total solar eclipse lasting forever. This happens because the Aztec nation was destroyed by Spanish invaders in the 1500s, and hasn’t been feeding Nanahuatzin, or the Sun, the human sacrifices he needs to stay healthy and strong. Good going, Spain.
What comes next:
According to most early Central American cultures, the world has already ended four to five times, by methods ranging from flood to armies of hungry jaguars. Our world will apparently get the terrifying Tzitzimime, depicted as either skeletons with rattlesnake penises, or a race of bony, female spider monsters from the stars.
The Aztecs believed the sun would save us from the Tzitzimime, had they been allowed to keep feeding it human hearts. But, of course, ******' Spain came along.
Can you survive it?

I heard something kind of scary from a middle-eastern woman, she said not to drink pepsi after october 7th i think it was... she said it was because "her people" (?) are going to start doing something to it? I dont know if i should believe this. I have nothing at all against middle-eastern people, i am friends with many. But this is kind of a scary thought. Has anyone else heard anything about it?

Peter was playing his guitar and singing 'Rock Lobster'. As he strummed along and sang, he was rocking his head back and forth. It was at that point that I noticed his big dimpled chin looked like a swinging nut sack.

Who else can attest to his testes for a chin? His son's features are a spittin' image of his father's!
