There is no age limit to get your cat fixed. She can be six months old or she can be up to a year . There is no age limit to when you can have your cat fixed. I have two cats. My youngest cat is two and half years old. We had her fixed by the time she was nine months old. Our other cat. She is thirteen year old this month. When we first got her i had her fixed at the age of six months old. So - you see there is no age limit to when you can have your kitty fixed. If you want to have her fixed i suggest that you have it done soon. Sooner the better. If you want a whole litter of kittens running around the house. Which i think you may not want to go through that.

She is definitely not too late to get her spayed. Just think cats can live up to 20+ yrs w/ good care, so really she's still just a kitten ( tho one that is capable of reproducing ).
I've 6 cats that have been 'fixed' anywhere from 3 1/2 mos. to over 1 yr.
Just make sure your vet says she is healthy enough to undergo general anesthesia.

Go to the vet and have him check her out. You can get an animal fixed no matter what age. When I was younger my mom and I fostered cats. Some would be as old as 10 and we would go to the vet and they would get fixed. You should definetly get your cat fixed since there are so many animals without homes in the world today. Good Luck. =]

Yes, it is okay to get her fixed, my cat had babies 2 times at age 2-3. My mother got her fixed at 3 1/2 years old and my cat is healthy even today at like 6 years old.

It is fine to get a cat fixed after a year old. No cat is really too old. I wouldn't suggest it on an elderly cat personally

NOW!!! Get her fixed before she has a litter of kittens!!
The pet population in this country is far beyond the number of homes available to the pets. Many pets end up euthanized because there were no empty places at the SPCA. Remember Bob Barker?
Help control the pet population--Have your pet spayed or neutered!
Animals can be neutered at any time in their lives. It's the responsible pet owner thing to do.

Yes, it's okay to get her spayed. I don't think there's a such thing as too old. (Unless the cat is considered a senior citizen, in which case, it's too old to have kittens anyway.) My eldest female was spayed at 13 months and she came through the operation just fine:)

It's not too late to get her fixed. She'll be fine and you'll be doing the world a huge favor. In the State of Michigan alone, the shelters had to put down 80,000 cats/kittens in just one year! People need to get their animals FIXED. Thanks!

From my understanding cats are never to old to get fixed.
It just makes it easier on the animal and the pet owner for them not to go into heat so often.
If she is outdoor cat get her fixed!
If there is a male cat in your household, my vet told me even if they are brother and sister there is no stopping them.
