Religion has certain ideas at the heart of it which are called sacred or holy or whatever. What it means is 'here is an idea or notion that you're not allowed to say anything bad about; you're just not. Why not? - because you're not.'
In any other aspect of human life, law, medicine, philosophy, science, politics, et al., respect is hard earned and can be lost or the status quo challenged.
But not religion. Religion excempts itself from challenge as well as taxes.
Why do you respect religion?
