Ann, Hazel, and Jane live in 3 adjacent apartments. Hazel has the middle apartment. They work as a secretary, receptionist, and a nurse but no necisarily in that order. We know this:
-The receptionist feeds Jane cat on the weekend.
-The secretary taps on Ann's wall when her music is too loud.
What is Ann's occupation!

Hazel has the middle apartment. Leaving Ann & Jane on the ends. We know that the secretary taps on ann's wall when the music is too loud so that would make Hazel the secretary wouldn't it. Receptionist.
Since Hazel lives in the center apartment, only she can tap on Ann's wall, so Hazel is the secretary. Because the receptionist feeds Jane's cat, Jane cannot be the receptionist. Thus, Ann must be the receptionist.

Since Hazel is in the middle, we know she must be the secretary, in order to tap on Ann's wall. Jane's on the other side, so it couldn't be her. We know the receptionist is not Jane, so Jane must be the nurse. That means Ann is the receptionist.
