I had picked out the name Ava, but Ive realized just how popular it's becoming and have decided I didnt want her to be one of 15 Avas in her class. Other names I like (but nothing Id name her) are Amber, Taylor, Madison, Addison (all too popular!) Help me please!!!!!!

I am looking a general quotation that expresses the apathy and angst of the generation following the baby boomers.
They had to deal with the Cold War, Vietnam, possible total destruction of the world...etc...

I tried looking on quotation websites, but none seem to offe what I am looking for and maybe somebody out there will be able to help.

Hopefully somebody can push me in the right direction and help me get a quote from somebody, preferably somebody well-known, or from a song lyric, or anything.

They lied by pretending to know that that the sun orbited the earth when, in fact, the earth orbits the sun. Copernicus overthrew it around the year 1500.
Most importantly, why would anybody ever follow a church heirarchy again after learning of the b.s. that it spouted for centuries? If they lied once, they'll lie again and they've probably always lied.

So, I understand that in the US its common practice to have a designated paediatrician for your children, and you take them for check ups even when there is no medical problem.

I am in the UK, and as far as I know it's not common to have a designated paediatrician for your child unless there is something wrong with them, and it's not common to go to 'well baby' visits.......although many areas have baby clinics staffed by health visitors. I don't know anyone that has a Paediatrician for their child or baby, and most of my friends have children.

Is this correct? Is there anyone in either country that have had different experiences of the system, and why?

I have a lawn mower, 2 yrs. old that has some serious internal issues...It got hung up and now when it turns over it knocks really bad while running. I am looking to take the block out of an older 3.5 and bolt all the parts onto it from the new one and throw the newer, more damaged block away. Is this possible? Are the holes on the blocks for carbs and pipes etc...all the same for 3.5-5hp motors?? My dad has a bunch of old lawn mowers at his house that don't run. 3 of them are B&S Someone please fill me in..

So I had PROTECTED sex in june but when we finished we noticed a huge wet spot in the bed (we never figured out how it got there).My periods are very irregular but i did have one this month (it was normal) what do you think my chances are of being pregnant? I've been doing ALOT of research on NHL center ice for Dish Network this year (07-08). And people are saying there almost close to having NHL network and there still wrapping up negotiations with the HD portion. Now NHL center ice is from indemand and NHL network is from comcast. On one site i looked at it said that Dish Network has announced that they will be using the NHL network with comcast. What is better NHLCI and indemand or NHL network and comcast?

Every day its sumtin differant he just wants and a wants and wants Its never nothing,He let his phone service go now he always has my cell phone all the time,He totally eats differant food then the rest of my family, He is always saying"I Want" its never "we" I know it should be about "US"why cant he see it this way. I got a leopard gecko a few weeks ago and it ate a little to start with, but then it started eating less and less and now it hasn't eaten in a few days. It's young so it should eat every day. I think it might be hibernating because it gets a little cold in my house but I'm not sure. I could really use some help.

A very sexually active woman tells her plastic surgeon that she wants her vaginal lips reduced in size because they were flapping in the breeze.

why is it okay, in our society, that in public schools, or pretty much anywhere, its okay to talk about all religions and mythical gods, but everyone is totally opposed to Christianity? if you don't believe, then why would it make a difference to you?

is it because you know that Christianity is right and you're just afraid?

please help... the problem: hot water is fine to start within the shower or the taps, but then the pressure drops until the water stops running completely. central heating is working ok... pilot light is on, radiators are all fine;cold water tap pressure is ok.....this has been happening for a few weeks on and of but now it seems to be all the time.....can anyone give me any clues what the problem might be! x
