Ok a few months ago I had a fling with a married man (yes i know BAD Idea, so don't worry you don't need to point this out - however i didn't cross the line so to speak) Anyway we both decided to stop and have no contacting (well his idea not to contact but i didn't argue) anyway when i knew him, I got to know some of his mates, as spent time at the pub with them all. Now he is telling me not to talk to his mates at the pub, and that they do not want to talk to me and wonder why I am there, and that the way I act 'does not look good'. However most of his mates have always been really friendly, and brought me drinks etc. Why do you think he said this? do you think he might be a bit jealous or not really?

......people say she deserves better? Is she not a party to this wrong doing? Is she not equally cullpable, especially when she knows the man is married? Why would someone say "You deserve better!" to them, when what they clearly deserve is to get married themselves and then be that wife who loses her husband to another woman? Aren't they also adults who should suffer the ramifications of their own actions?
Why is it assumed that women are the "innocents" when they get involved with a married man?

I'm planning on buying 2 TV within the next couple of months. I did a lot of research but I want people's recommendations. I'm looking for 1 small TV ( 20 to 24 inch) and one big one (27 to 32 inch) at a reasonable price, between $500 to $1000. I'm NOT planning to buy any Westinghouse TV. Bought one a few weeks ago but had to return it because the audio didn't sync with the video, meaning the sound lag behind by 2 seconds to the picture, which go very annoying. There was some bad reviews on Westinghouse tvs and a few people had the same problem that I did. Any good brands besides Westinghouse?

What if you were praying, and God/Allah/YHWH/Buddha, whichever you worship, apeared to you. And told you that you had choosen the wrong religion? Most religions state flat-out that a true visitation can not be faked, that when it happens you will -know- with utter certainty that this is the truth. So you wouldn't be able to explain it away. But, honestly, you'd try, wouldn't you?

I just moved into a first floor appartment a little over a month ago. While I have never heard the people above me, apparently the guy below me can hear every step I take. Sure, I've heard loud noises: teapot whistles, etc, but I never thought about this.

He just came over and had a nice. short conversation letting me know about this little situation. It seems that it bothers him most in the morning: I have to get up at about 6 am.... I can easily imagine myself walking around half asleep with heavy footsteps in the morning.... This is my first place on my own and I've really tried to be considerate of those around me: no loud music, keeping my TV down. I had no idea this guy was putting up with this.

With that in mind, what can I do about this? Clearly, I'll try to have lighter feet, but is there anything else I can try to do about this?

i called my ex up because i was missing him and just wanted to talk. i ended the relationship, but we both still have feelings. he was heavy into drugs and alcohol when we got together, and cutting, so i broke up with him. hoping to hear he calmed down, i called and he told me that he wasn't smoking pot as much, but started doing cocaine. i was horrified, so i broke the news that i was thinking of getting my ged or graduating early because i wasn't feeling challenged in school and i want to work before i go off to college.

his exact response -

"if you leave, i will get worse. i'll start smoking again and drinking more. honestly, i'll kill myself if you're not around."

what do i do? i'm so scared and i feel so trapped...

I was driving one day and saw her in the car behind me. She was gorgeous. I saw the street she turned into and know where she lives because her car is in the driveway. How do I ask her out without being a stalker or giving her the creeps? I don't see her walking on the street, she's either at home or on the road, so no in betweens and I have a schedule that's scattered.
