That's normal. The kitten is practicing instinctive survival skills. Within a few months she'll become more sedate and gentle with you. The worst brats become the nicest cats. Be patient.

Yes, kittens are very playful, they'll see anything as an oppertunity to "hunt". The bite and scratch as they play, this is just what kittens do.
As she grows older, she should stop biting on her own, as cats don't rely on their teeth for anything other than eating. If the biting really bothers you now, when you see that she's biting, say "No" and turn away from her. After a while she'll learn that biting results in the playtime coming to an end, which is something she does not want.
As for the scratching, cats use their claws constantly. And older cat might scratch you when she's just playing too rough, or seriously telling you to back off. This is very normal cat behaviour, I wouldn't even bother to try and teach her not to scratch you because it comes naturally. You should be the one adjusting the idea of being scratched from time to time. Cats also commonly scratch furniture. This is another natural act. If you don't want that, purchase or build (out of wood) a scratching post. To teach her to use it, look out for when she scratches anythign she isn't supposed to, and immediately bring her over to the post. Don't yell of punish her. Just interrupt her furniture-scratching, and then pet her and give her treats when she scratches the post.

This is what little kittens would do with each other or with their mothers tail and it's linked to survival. So it's natural but a behavior that you don't want to encourage happening with you. So you can get some of those fake furry mice or a toy like that and when your kitten wants to bite and scratch YOU, put the toy in it's mouth, get it focused on doing that to toys.
Just outright stop it from doing that if you don't have a toy on hand.

Kittens do this - it's how they play! Find some good kitty toys and play with your kitten that way. Try tossing wadded-up balls of paper, or dragging a piece of string around for her to chase. The plastic collars that come wrapped around the Ben & Jerry's ice cream lids are a big hit with our kitten.
When your kitten bites or scratches you, redirect her attention to a toy. She'll settle down as she gets older.

When she bites and scratches, just say NO in a strong voice and then stop playing with her. She will understand the word NO eventually and associate it with the need to stop what she's doing or not get the satisfaction she seeks. Then you can say NO when she's scratching furniture, etc and she will stop. Good luck. If you are consistent, it will be great.

That's what baby kittens do ( and why I adopted an adult this time very honestly). Trim her nails, walk away from her when she does it and know that she'll outgrow it.
