Ok a few months ago I had a fling with a married man (yes i know BAD Idea, so don't worry you don't need to point this out - however i didn't cross the line so to speak) Anyway we both decided to stop and have no contacting (well his idea not to contact but i didn't argue) anyway when i knew him, I got to know some of his mates, as spent time at the pub with them all. Now he is telling me not to talk to his mates at the pub, and that they do not want to talk to me and wonder why I am there, and that the way I act 'does not look good'. However most of his mates have always been really friendly, and brought me drinks etc. Why do you think he said this? do you think he might be a bit jealous or not really?

I think he may be afraid that his mates are going to see what a big 2 timing jerk he is with his WIFE!

of course his mates were nice and bought you drinks they figured if you'd sleep with a married man they were in like flynn , no he wasnt jealous he doesnt want his mates to slip up and tell his wife about you no other reason he wants to cut ties with you so you have to sacrifice and stay away from his mates simple as that.
This is how women who cheat with married men are viewed by their mates doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out sorry its just a fact.
Go hunt a single man and start a life and be happy leave him and his group of friends alone.Whats done is done and past.

I agree w/ everyone else.. not jealous, just doesn't want anyone to know what happened.. Keep away to avoid anymore problems.. You can make friends anywhere; stay away from his circle. Imagine the pain the wife would be in if she found out? Again, he's not jealous, he's just trying to protect his family.

His friends are friendly and buy you drinks??? Hmmmm, maybe they are hoping to get some???? Maybe he doesn't want you around his friends because he realizes that YOU were a bad mistake and he doesn't want the reminder of that mistake (you) hanging around with his friends... good grief, get your own set of friends and stop flattering yourself...

Wake up! He's married and wants to keep
even an 'almost` discretion quiet.
That means stay away from him & his friends
so there's no loose talk.

I don't think it is jealousy at all. I think he might be afraid of you telling his mates they you both had an affair.

he's probably afraid of getting caught and having it all come out to his friends and later his wife.
