How do you know right from wrong? If life is meaningless and your belief is there is no God, why are we not in chaos? Are you naive to suggest that religion has NOT impacted your life? Are you aware, as an Atheist, that Governments "roots" stem directly from religious values and ways and that you, yourselves, "follow" them?

How come every single religion, atheist or deity believing, all have the same values of "not killing" each other or "stealing" and the like? Do you think it's a fluke?

Christians are accused of following God. I accuse them, sure, but why is it you follow these laws if God, himself, doesn't exist? Why do you lie to yourself and say "I don't follow" when, everyday, you do - You follow "the man." Why do these laws exist? Simply to protect yourself? Survival? Survival for what? Would you suggest without these laws we'd kill one another? Why didn't we do that before hand more effectively wiping all out?

If life is meaningless, why bother surviving?

The republican wants to be successful. He/she wants to have the option of becoming rich and keeping those riches. If he/she is already rich they want the freedom of keeping what they have earned.

The democrat is becomming the party of I want what others want and dont want to work for it. Its the party of give me riches because im poor attitude. its the party of entitlement. But what they forget is that by asking for these things that money has got to come from taxation. Taxation of the rich and the middle class. sure the democratic party is fighting for universal healthcare...but whats going to happen is people will be taxed more to get it. and their station in life will not change. Increase minimum wage? sure but the companies will have to increase prices to cover that increase in cost and peoples station in life will not change.

People point to Britain and other countries and how well their health care and socialist systems work.. yet the taxes in those countries is close to 50% of wages...is that really what you want? do you really all think that will help your overall station in life?

We have two cats who do this. One is Bengal, the other is
Siamese/Manx cross (little black cat). They are healthy,
affectionate, outstanding fur people, just, they do not meow!
They make an assortment of other sounds, talking with us
and each other. Do any of yours do this, or do we have a
couple of strange cats?

Is patting during a hug an indication that the other person is ready for the hug to end? Is patting a patronizing gesture when done within a romantic relationship? My boyfriend whom I've known for 4 years and dated for 3 months and lived with for 2 of those months, pats me all the time. He'll roll over in bed and put his hand on my hip and pat it....he'll pat me when he's hugging me, I've always felt that patting is a patronizing gesture but I can't find any info on line about body language and patting...what do you guys think? Is he patronizing/condescending me...is he uncomfortable with our physical touch? Help, the patting is driving me nuts! Also, and good links to body language and patting?

“Damaged”

the canvas can call tomorrow home
the art of chaos falling into patterns
breathing and dying take equal turns
when ashes fall, children clamor to claim
the damage of life, to be defined by the night
the physicality an afterthought to those
who mourn in the silence of their wombs
let the children carry illusions, leave candles lit
to claim an identity of the unknown
shredding respect of those who know.
death that seeped in, speaking in silent woes
clocks pass by eternal tomorrows
which children dream life to be
eyes can’t eclipse the difference
of what matters in between now and never
souls will know to expose their bones
beyond faces, a million layers never seen
sins too unspeakable to ever repent
fall into graves, answers never given
but gone, gone, gone, no asking tomorrow.

With all due respects to Catholic christains , i want to ask them that one of my catholic pal says that drinking PHELGM brings numerious health benefits , and it also contains vitamins.? He told me this in response of below

I told him accroding to a scientific research that wing of a Fly contain health benefits ... which is listen below
So then, flies are not only pathogenic carriers but also carry microbiota that can be beneficent. These fly microbiota are bacteriophagic or germ-eating. Bacteriophages attack viruses and bacteria. They can be selected and bred to kill specific organisms. The viruses infect a bacterium, replicate and fill the bacterial cell with new copies of the virus, and then break through the bacterium's cell wall, causing it to burst. The existence of similar bacteria-killing mechanisms in two bacteriophages suggests that antibiotics for human infections might be designed on the basis of these cell wall-destroying proteins ( Science 292, June 2001)
