Misinformation is unlimited online. First, there is no test on the planet or amount of marijuana you can smoke in three days that would show up in a blood test a month later. Second, it's unlikely (but not impossible depending on the reason) that you are getting a blood test for drugs, and more likely it is a urine screen. Third, cannabinoids can be detected in urine up to about 60 days after last use depending on how often you smoked (e.g., in a heavy, daily user, up to about 2 months). In your case, depending on the quality of the weed, should be out of your urine by most tests in 1-2 weeks so you are at some risk. If you can postpone the test for 2-3 days you should be fine. Alternatively, if you cannot delay the test, I would be sure to go to an independent lab (try the phone book in your area and make an appointment - you don't just walk in) and be tested 2-3 days after. If you come up positive on the first test, your second test should be clean and you can use it to argue that the first test was not correct. Sorry to hear you were clean for so long then relapsed a week before a drug test. Good luck

He will probably not pass. Did he know he was scheduled for a drug screen?

I have been in healthcare education over 20 years and have watched many, many students be urine drug-screened. There is no single universally correct answer to, "how long does THC remain detectable in your system after you smoke?" It can remain stored in your fat cells for days, weeks, or even months.

There is also no guaranteed way to "clean" your system. Overdosing on vinegar, cranberry juice, pickle juice, water, detox kits, using someone else's urine, or putting your arm in a sling and saying, "I was in a car accident and they gave me some pills in the ER". None of it works. Not every time. Especially not the last two.

If your husband is being tested for employment, the boss doesn't want his employees using drugs.

If your husband is being tested by law enforcement (i.e., in a parole situation), they're trying to catch people who use drugs.

This is not intended to be judgmental. Marijuana is illegal, so employers, schools, and the legal system often tests for it and for other drugs. The only guaranteed method for testing clean is, of course, to not use drugs. Maybe they relax your husband, make him feel calm and mellow, but they're only complicating his life right now.

If he hasn't smoked in a while, then he should be good to go, it usually takes about 5 days for the occasional smoker to get clean. I would drink a **** load of water the day before he takes the test , and pee as much as possible, he should be ok. Unless he's a heavy smoker, than it can take as long as 30 days to clean up.

It'll stay in his system for 3-30 days. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM? How can he go 7 mos. without, and then smoke 5 days before a test? That boggles the mind. I hope you're giving him hell. -LL

Isn't that just the luck...sad. I don't know, that's pretty close. Maybe yes if he didn't smoke more than a couple of hits but it usually stays atleast 2 weeks. Good Luck.

he's prolly gonna fail - the rule is 30 days, depending on body weight - the more body fat,the longer it can stay in your system. he needs to drink ALOT of water. also - adding 2 drops of clorox in a glass a couple times a day is said to help. you can buy otc medication to help clean him out. it took my ex 3 months to get cleaned out,but since your hubby didn't smoke alot - he may have a chance, tho doubtful.

It depends on the test he is taking, if they test his hair then no he won't pass, it stays in his system up to 2 years.

If it's a blood or urine test he probably will pass but it will be close.
