With all due respects to Catholic christains , i want to ask them that one of my catholic pal says that drinking PHELGM brings numerious health benefits , and it also contains vitamins.? He told me this in response of below

I told him accroding to a scientific research that wing of a Fly contain health benefits ... which is listen below
So then, flies are not only pathogenic carriers but also carry microbiota that can be beneficent. These fly microbiota are bacteriophagic or germ-eating. Bacteriophages attack viruses and bacteria. They can be selected and bred to kill specific organisms. The viruses infect a bacterium, replicate and fill the bacterial cell with new copies of the virus, and then break through the bacterium's cell wall, causing it to burst. The existence of similar bacteria-killing mechanisms in two bacteriophages suggests that antibiotics for human infections might be designed on the basis of these cell wall-destroying proteins ( Science 292, June 2001)

I am not aware that swallowing phlegm is a catholic practice. In fact, I know it has nothing to do with the Catholic Faith.

A guy in my college fraternity used to spit loogies straight up and then "catch" them with his mouth. It was absolutely disgusting. I think he did it to be funny, but it was just gross. I am not sure if he was catholic or not.

I don't see what this has to do with being Catholic!

I'd say anything that is a waste product would be doubtful in it's benefits!
