My next door neighbor has a 2 year old pit bull.

When I go into my yard, the dog does not bark at me, my husband, nor my teenaged son. For some strange reason, the dog barks like crazy at my 3 year old daughter. (No my daughter has never poked at the dog or anything like that. She's never been in the yard unsupervised and is strictly instructed to stay back from the fence when we are outside).

When the dog would bark at my daughter, I would stomp my foot and say, "go away" and the dog would move away from the fence and sit down or something. Now, the dog doesn't back down and stands there barking it's head off.

I told my neighbor that I was concerned and she told me not to worry because the dog is just very playful and probably just wants to play with my daughter (ah...not going to happen). Not that it matters, but the neighbor is a police officer.

How would you handle the situation?

Just out of curiosity here. We are always told that if you have a problem with your boss/ manager/superior etc. You can go above their heads without fear of retaliation. Has anyone ever done this? and if so what kind of retaliation did you get from your superior if any?

We use to always have sex, everyday! Now we do it once every 2 wks, if that : (( We live together, fyi.
He says we have a relationship where sex doesnt reallly matter. He loves me more than anything. I believe sex is 90% of a relationship, if the sex is not good or not happening it wont work or last.

A girlfriend of mine has been looking for a job for about 9 months. She has been frustrated a lot, because she has a college degree and lots of work experience in her field. Recently, she became employed. She confessed to me that when she filled out the application, and was given a supplemental form that asked about her race - she lied. She now feels that may have been THE reason why she was hired. She now feels that because she previously marked herself as white/caucasian, that she wasn't hired. Now, she's claiming to be hispanic.

She's worried now that she could be fired for lying. Is she at risk to be fired? I know I've filled out similar forms, but never thought of lying. She's so freaked out, she keeps thinking of quitting before she's "found out".

I'm self-employed, so I don't know what would happen if her lie was discovered. Any thoughts?

She told me that the steering or the car swerves to the RIGHT. She was right. 2 days of owning/driving this van I I noticed that It swerves to both left and right.

Brought it to a dealership and had the ALIGNMENT done. They said the Alignment is prefect and that the tires are wearing off evenly (all 4)!

When I drove it back home - it still swerve to the right and left. But I guess more obvious to the Right.

Well. I had the tires switched again and the problem seem to stay.

They said it needs new tires but ALL tires are like 5/32.

I'm tired of all this. DOes anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it?

I barly started yesturday and I feel that its a bit heavy I feel it contstantly coming out I got some regular pads and overnight ones when I went to change I had alot of it I was wondering if there is anything to stop it besides going to the doctor like do I change up what Im eating? I used to sit next to this boy in high school who would pick his nose ALL the time, it was the most disgusting thing ever. Now in college I sit behind a boy who picks his nose a lot too. I wonder if they realize that people are seeing them do that.

the first and second pitches, and the force with which the baseball is hit is the same on both pitches that i can calculate that if the first pitch was hit with an angle of 45 degrees to the ground, that it will go farther than a second hit at an angle of 75 degrees. my question is what happens if the everything is the same for a third scenario, but the speed of the pitch varies. will the ball go farther if the pitch is thrown faster? and does it go farther based on the same proportionality rules as the first two scenarios, or does speed count for more distance, than say angle, and force?
