Hello all,

Can anyone tell me what are my chances of enlisting in the US Army if I had Brain Aneurysm Surgery 8 years ago?

Note that I haven't have any problems since, and all of my routine MRIs came back negative for any problems.

Also, does the selected MOS affect the Medical Waiver Process?

My husband and I are moving to PA to open up a tattoo shop. We're kicking around ideas for different interior design plans and I thought I'd come on here and get other opinions and ideas from all of you.

So, what is it in the initial 'look' of a tattoo shop that makes you decide to go in?

Once you're in, what in the interior design makes you want to stay in and begin the tattoo artist 'interview' (the point where you talk to the artist and decide if they will be the one tattooing you) process?

Looking for a job so i apply for Sainsburys. Hand in my application form Sunday afternoon and got a call for an interview Monday morning (this was two weeks ago). Had my interview and it went well. Got a letter saying that there was no suitable possition. Well why bother interviewing me as i put down that i can do any jobs and when i can work. What a bloody piss take. Why is it so hard to get a Saturday job these days. I have literally applied every where and get no reply. All the dumb arses in my school can seem to get a job yet at an interview you would immediatley dismiss them as they cant even string a sentence together. I just need a job to save up for uni. Actually waste my money on something that will benefit me but no. Every where has a personal vendetta against me. I'm thinking it was because i was over qualified as i told them my grades (A's and A*'s). They didnt even give me a reason for not wanting me. What a waste of f*cking time.

I have been trying to find a job in sacramento, CA for installing alarm systems in homes or satellite TV. But ever person want you to be experienced. Ive seen some of these adds on here for weeks. If they were willing to train poeple they would of had a worker by now. I have a pretty good mechanical mind, just no way to learn this stuff. Very Very frustrating. I was thinking maybe I should go out and buy a book on electrical installation or somthing like that so I can say something. I am a German immigrant and living in the USA for 4 years now. I am married to a "first class" citizen (that is really how they call them!) and therefore have legal status as a "permanent resident". I am aware that you have to be 5 (or 8??) years in this legal status before becoming a citizen via "naturalization".

NOW MY QUESTION:

Is it *mandatory* that immigrants have to speak the "Pledge of Allegiance", with that infamous Eisenhower addition "one nation under god"??????

I am of pagan faith and DO NOT worship the abrahamic deity. Any oath made to THAT god would be a false oath from me.

Now, what are non-abrahamics (non-jewish, non-christians and non muslims) saying in that case?

I cannot possibly be the only Pagan immigrating?
What do Buddhists say? And Hindus? And Atheists?

Although it is still so much time until I can think about naturalization, I am already really worried about that!!!
