Busheviks like to say that it has prevented terrorists from killing Americans here in the US, since we have provided the service of delivering Americans to Iraq for them to kill.

But, terrorist incidents have increased worldwide, as have the terrorists numbers. We had a chance, in Afghanistan, to destroy the Taliban and put Al Quaida out of action for a long time. But Bush wanted to invade Iraq instead.

Ummmm.....No. First of all, what terrorist act did Iraq perpetrate on us to make us invade a sovereign nation? You can go on and on about Saddam Hussein being a tyrant and all, but the fact is that the world is full of tyrants...does that mean we invade every country we have the least bit of a suspicion about? And if the threshold is the threat of nuclear weapons, then why the hell are we not at war with North Korea and Iran!!?? This war is total crap and unjustified. We have basically open, unsecured boarders where anyone can come across if they feel like it.....but we invade another country and piss the whole world off in the process.........so, to answer your question, in my humble opinion, no....if anything, we have made more enemies, damaged more relationships with other nations, enabled Iran to become a more powerful nation, drain our economy, not to mention the number of lives that have been ruined and lost in the process.

It hasn't.
Actually it has made us more vunerable. Now we are not only disliked by the Arab Nations but we are less liked around the world. Ever talked to someone in Eastern Europe or other global spots? Once they find out you are American you can get a real ear full. They do not like how Americans feel superior and how they push their Democracy and rhetoric on other countries just because they have different beliefs.

We need to keep our noses out of the affairs of other Countries including Iraq. Our military should not get involved unless our country is under direct threat. Anyone can build WMD and they can even do it secretly. We can not stop everyone but we can keep peace by being intelligent and friendly to all nations.

Did we work with the UN? No, we ignored their advice.

Nope.

It's inflamed it. There are more young muslim men that have become radicalised because of Iraq then there ever were. Previously it was limited to a group of extremists with the usual "death to the west" ranting that was just for show. Because of BushCo bungling that has played into the hands of the fundies (on both sides) the west is going to feel the repercussions of this disaster for generations.

It's given the people of Anbar Provience a reason to stand up to Al-qaida who are terrorists. It's stopped a terrorist dictator from commiting acts of terrorism against the Kurds. Let me know if you need more.

W3ll...the onl.Ee guud thing that has come out of it is the capture of Saddam Hussein...and even at that the war is now useless, meaningless and the situation in that country is now worse off than before. i feel awfully bad for anyone who has a brother, an uncle, a dad, a friend, a husband..etc in Iraq...I mean...what the hell is Bush doing..?? Does he have any shred of humanity, logic and compassion..?? Anyway..that's my 2 cents.

It has obviously helped stop terrorism HERE, in America, because there hasn't been any. Fight them there, with our splendid troops, or fight them in the streets of NYC with women and children. I'll take fight them there any day, thanks.
