I guess when all the people willing to join the military are all dead for no reason. And no one wants to be in the military anymore.....maybe the war will be over

For all we know, the Iraq War can go on for another 10 years with victory still nowhere in sight. That's exactly what happened in Vietnam. The Vietnam War had been dragging on for too long without any sign of success, until one president (Nixon) finally decided that enough is enough. Had the US troops never pulled out of Vietnam, it could had been the longest foreign war ever fought by the US (far longer than World War II).

The invasion of Iraq was the most foolish use of US troops in history. It is a disaster; a total failure! We have created more terrorists and terrorist sympathizers than we have killed. We have lost the goodwill of the world that we had after the 9/11 attacks. We should have finsihed the job in Afghanistan and then attacke our real enemy, Iran. Iran is killing our troops in Iraq, and they have been waging a cover war against the US since 1979.

Iraq has allready became a faliure. When an enemy sees infighting amoung politicle parties.It sees victory. That has allready happened. Liberals in Congress(only to embaress the president) have allready showed that we have no will to go on. Imagine what our troops must think. People that sit on thier couch and watch it on tv.....What right do they have to say anything? I will admit.I am not for it,but for reasons that war is a scourge on the human race. Like most liberals......You would like to see us fail

The point of being there is to have a strategic place in the Middle East theatre. So according to the Bush plan we will always be in Iraq.
