My black lab Sasha, is getting euthanized tomorrow. She is 17 years old, and her hips are rubbing bone on bone so bad she can no longer walk well. She has been my dog since I was a little girl, and I love her so much. I can't bear to have my beautiful girl hurt anymore.
My question is, what will she feel? Will she know what's happening? Will she panic? What will it feel like for her?
I'm really not trying to be morbid. I just can't bear to think, she will realize, I brought her on her beloved last car ride to kill her.
Should I have her sedated first? or tranquilized?
What if I can't bear to give the vet the go ahead?
Sorry to ramble, but right now I am crying my eyes out, snuggling my Sasha for the last night.
God, this is just horrible!!!
Any help will be wonderful.

It needs to be on the site, as I am unable to download. I must be able to read the book by clicking on a link online without downloading.

I get the feeling that for all the developments in technology and science we are still moving backwards faster than we might think.People in general seem to be focusing on material and superficial things rather than on becoming better people (which i believe is our gouls on this planet>)
What do you guys think?

Now that Bush has pretty openly proclaimed iraq a colony of the US - you'll have troops stationed forever, and maniulate a puppet government while looting the resources - will the US finally stop calling itself a "democracy" or a "republic" and openly admit its a military empire?

I'm not lucky at all :P

First 16 years of my life: I couldn't wear them at all, because I had glasses. Then I finally got contacts and was so excited...

First pair - some random guy at choir sat on them and they broke (I had had them about a week)
Second pair - I sat on them and they broke
Third pair - My sister left them in an airplane after her flying lesson
Fourth pair - My sister (same one) lost them somewhere
Fifth pair - I was kayaking in Hawaii and had them hooked in the front of my swimsuit, next thing I knew they were gone
Sixth pair - Still in Hawaii, my sister (SAME ONE!) broke the ear piece by accident
Seventh pair - so far still in one piece...!
Good thing I only buy cheap ones!

You? :)

lugging his lumpy, oversized travel
bag onto the plane. Helped by a flight attendant, he finally managed to
stuff it in the overhead bin. "Do you always carry such heavy luggage?"
she sighed.
"No more," the man said. "Next time, I'm riding in the bag, and my
partner can buy the ticket!"

Ok so today I had this excruciating pain towards the left side of my upper ribs. It was sooo bad. I was crying and it hurt to breathe in and walk. It wasn't under the ribs and I'm pretty sure it was in the abdomen. It was also really bloated. I got my friend to touch it and she said it seemed swollen almost like there was a massive lump.
The pain has sort of gone now.
What do you think is happening to me??

I was raised very diffrent from my brother( whome is younger than me). I was taught to be responsible and independent, but my brother has always gotten away with murder. Dont get me wrong, I prefer being the responsible one, but, this time its gone too far and I need to speak up. The way my mom raises my brother, whome is now 19, is actaully crippling him in life.

She does everything for him, she even quit his job for him! I dont want to critisize her parenting, since I love her dearly and she is extremely sensitive. How do I tell her that she's doing the wrong thing, without hurting her feelings, or is it not my place to say??

If yes, to what extent? Do you think hairstyles commonly thought/known to be worn by people of particular races should be a consideration? Do you think exceptions should be given to "ethnic hairstyles" to avoid accusations of discrimination? Do you think that employer preference, with regards to hairstyle, is ever an indication of racial discrimination?

I'm in the middle of answering a question concerning this issue, so I'm just curious as to what y'all think about the matter.

To what extent (if any) do you think an employer should be permitted to dictate hairstyles worn by employees?

Explain your opinions.

Thanks.

I mean think about all of the actors, or comedians, such as John Candy, Jack Black, Chris Farely. Fat people are funny. Why do you suppose fat people are so funny?

Born in 1934, I am a comedian who has risen to worldwide fame of late. Very creative, I am a film producer, script writer, a star of London’s West End musical theatre, an award-winning writer and also an acclaimed landscape artist.

Married four times, I am currently married to my fourth wife of 17 years, but only have 4 children to my previous marriages.

I am notorious in my home country for playing elaborate public pranks and am somewhat of an icon. I reached my height of fame thanks to my character acting skills and am most noted for one of my alter egos.

My famous alter ego has reached great heights and now has their own prime time talk show, making her somewhat of a “dame”.
I am not without controversy, but then again performing satire often raises a few eyebrows.
