How did Nikki Grant's mother get so powerful? She's like fourth wife, yet she's Roman's right hand man. Also her son, Alby, is the heir to the Grant throne.

Nikki's Mom has an important job, you always see her with Roman and she's always in charge of events at the compound.

Next week I'm suppose to be talking about my cognitive thinking I had when I was a child. I'm really freaking confused on this can someone give me an example of what it is.....What I understand so far is and let me know if I'm right it's the thought process of understanding problems and then figuring the solution to them. I'm not really good at understanding technical words and all that so if someone can give an example in a sentence, that be great.

What I did for my best friend was fill up a basket for her. I made hot cocoa in a jar http://familycrafts.about.com/cs/giftsinajar/l/blhotcocoajar.htm
and a "hug" box http://familycrafts.about.com/cs/giftsforanyone/l/blhugsgft.htm
I also added a bath bomb, a handmade bag of bath salts in a pretty bag,facial cream, chocolates, a story about our friendship, and a mini teddy bear.

What do you think? Her birthday is in a week. Do you think she would like it? She likes to relax so I thought she would like this...

Supposedly Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross to save humanity and open the gates of heaven to us. But if God is omnipotent, why did he have to go through all of that? Couldn't he just have snapped his fingers and open the gates of heaven instantly?

And why were the "gates of heaven" ever closed in the first place? Why couldn't they have just always been open?

I cosigned a credit card loan for my brother. He racked up thousands and stopped paying over a year ago. The debt is already charged off. He is working with a credit counselor to resolve the debt but its going to be awhile. I'm wondering if maybe a "consumer statement" will help. There is nothing that indicates that it isn't actually my account. Any advice on wording a credit report consumer statement?

I found where I think they are getting in and it is the same area an exterminator told me. I've gotten estimates w/ exterminators and contractors to do this work and it seems to be a lot of $$$ going towards labor, which I feel I can do. Besides cementing up my foundation, what are other things I can do to keep the little rodents out????
