I've never been in a major car accident but I am very scared of being in one. 1 in 5 americans will die in a private vehicle collision either with another vehicle or with a fixed object like a tree or telephone pole.

It looks scary in the videos. Imagine hitting a car at 80 miles per hour. It will hurt so much to get slammed up against a seat belt harness and possibly into a dashboard or a window pillar. It would hurt so much to have my head go through a glass window pane in the event of a traffic accident.

Has anyone here been in a major accident? How bad did it hurt you?

it was an experiment they did with black kids,and showed them 2 dolls ,one black one white,they asked the kids which was the best doll and they ALL said the white doll,and the reason they gave was because it was white.I am truly shocked and upset,i cant beleive this is happening in 2007.Did anyone see the show and what do you think?

I could help responing to this questionName the most powerful woman on politics or business or philanthropy that you know and explain why? We got Lisa Ling, Oprah, Hilary Clinton, some german chancellor womam, and Rachel Carson.
Compare these to Einstein, Martin Luther King, Socrates, Bill Clinton, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchil, Bill Gates etc etc.
Why do us guys have to believe the whining hysterics we get if we chose to believe we are not intellectually equal!
Of course, women were never educated is what you will say, I would ask you to look beyond the last 300 years history (tough if you are american!) Look at todays society. I dont see any women being banned from university, or anyone stopping them inventing new modes of thought and running business empires!!!

I just bought a laptop and a wireless router. I am from america and and going to England.

I have the laptop, the wireless router, and an adapter so I can use their electrical sockets

Is that enough to use anywhere I can find the electrical outlets to power the router. Do I need anything else?

I will throw some names here

Roger Clemens - dirty player. Goes on and off retirement as if the whole league is his. Everyone outside of Yanks nation won't miss his fat flab when he retires once again.

Michael Schumacher - yes I know he's retired and he's not technically an athlete in some eyes. Yet he treated himself as if he was a genuine athlete. Dirty driver I might add.

Roger Federer - ok he's not as bad as the other ones above, but I just don't understand why he always falls down to his knees or to the playing surface after winning the final match of a grandslam in straight sets easily, as if he has won his first grandslam emotionally in a five set thriller. When you know you are that good, you don't have to show the world that jeez, that thing was so hard to win! I think he should be more humble, like tiger woods.

my sister has had 4 kids in 5 yrs. the last was just born in aug. so theres the 1 mon old, the 1 yr old (shell b 2 in oct) the 3 yr old and the 4 yr old (5 in oct). she was married for about 2 yrs now getting a divorce. she has no job. lives off of her child support of about $450/ mo and $600 food stamps/ mo. she lives in a low income housing development and pays rent of $95/ mo. (w/ EVERYTHING included) her kids have little to no structure at all. she cant cook doesnt clean. my mother has to take care of everything for her. she cant even manage to pay her rent and has to barrow money. it has gotten so bad that i have had to move in w/ my mother to hlep her w/ bills and money bc she went so far into debt helping my sister. i work full time and go to school for my RN i am also engaged. my fiance lives in germany so he stays w/ us when he visits (he visits ever 3-12 wks and stays about 3 months) my sister is here constantly. she comes in the morning and stays till 10 or 11 if she goes
