yesterday in band a kid got his trumpet out to get ready to play. he left the case open the day before. and a cockroach crawled in. but he didn't know that till he blew in and the cockroach flew across the room and hit my teachers stand. i laughed harder than i ever did in my life. i thought i was gonna bust a gut or die from lack of oxygen, or both. i wonder what was gong through his mind when he was flying. either "wheeeee!" or "aaaaaaaaaa!" which do you think? and i'm pretty sure he thought "ouch!" when he hit the stand. i'll never forget what happend. :)

ok so im 13 and i want to try out for our local christmas carol play. its public by the way.

ok so im in advanced drama at school and im experienced in all the blocking and stage direction and stuff that like. i want to play either little fan or the Cratchit Children.
im good infront of the audience and i dont usually get nervous.
i have a loud voice(i was in cheer).
kids dont sing or dance at auditions so thats good cuase im not a good singer. but i can sing. just in a big group. what should i do when i try out and how should i dress? i've only auditioned for a couple thigns but didnt make them.
help?
anyone someone who casts plays??

My mom and my younger sister (15) are best friends. -So totally BFF!- That's not me. I like doing things myself and don't have to be talking to someone every second, like they do. I've told them many times that my not talking is not necessarily my being mad, upset or angry - they always say it is, it's not. I get in trouble or yelled at or grounded for it, and it really is starting to piss me off. Anything I say to my mom makes her mad, a lot when we talk about this kind of thing. How am I supposed to deal with this??? I don't need constant attention like they do and I get punished for it???

I know what happened to the native americans that did sign the treaties...i.e: reservations...and being cheated and forced to give up their land....I cant find any websites of testimonies ( or what not) of people having ancestors that stayed on the land...the only things i can think of are: 1. native americans being killed by the settlers if they didnt sign the treates...and 2. the benefits of the treaties of they signed them ( ex: school, money etc....) can you guys help me out and think of more things that happened to native americans that did sign the treaties? thanks!!!

I'm thinking of taking my 2 adult daughters on a 2 night Dinner Dance cruise out of Seattle. But don't want it to be just Big band kind of Music. I have been on several cruises, and they have never gotten to go with me. This sounded like an economical way to get them hooked.
