Oh, yes. I think that is why I like this site so much. It is my "escape" from my world. I used to read a lot but now it is this site. LOL (Not that I have a lot of problems--at present)

I can identify with a lot of other people's problems and through that I can help them to get it off their chest . Yes , I can forget myself in the process , which is very good .

If a door to peoples problems was opened to you and you were given a choice take your pick , You would go away with your own. And thank God for it.

A man that gets himself involved in another mans troubles would take a lion by the ears.

I think most of us do, but some in different ways.
I like to let people vent.
I forget about me for a while,
maybe have some good suggestions (especially if they are asked for, but i do jump in sometimes),
and remember my place in this world is neither Miss Perfect nor
Supreme Sufferer.

Not to forget my own as such, but I do like to have a good laugh at other peoples pathetic miserable existences.

Listening to others is a privilege to be trusted. I always go home after work with the feeling that where I am is a good place to be.

Not really. I simply enjoy the suffering of others sometimes. They usually insist upon it.
I find it fascinatingly repulsive, and full of ironies. Like watching palsied cripples who insist on dancing in some grotesque manner.
