do the merit badges have to be earned in your council or can you earn them elsewhere. My step son is enrolled in Boyscouts here in Ohio and working towards his 1st class so he can goto Philmont. Is he able to work on these merit badges in a different state when visiting his mother?

Home building etiquette. So there is a house being built across the street from me. These guys are consistently using my electrical and water outlets outside of my home during the day to do their stuff. Do I complain about this or is it etiquette to let them use the utilities at my expense??? They're fairly rude and messy too, so if you want to weight that with my question feel free!

This is just my lack of knowledge here (raised a protestant), so these may be crazy questions. Also, I know I'm asking a lot, so I've numbered them in case you only want to answer one or two. Thanks so much for your input - these questions have been bugging me for quite some time.

1) Do you still practice Judaism (sacrements, holidays, etc.) just like you did before your conversion? Any that you had to omit?
2) Do you think there are Jewish traditions that Christians should celebrate?
3) Do you celebrate "Christian" holidays now?
4) Do you go to church or a synagogue? If synagogue, would you welcome other Christians to worship with you?
5) It took me a while to realize that being Jewish is not just about your religion, but about your bloodline. Have you always thought of them as one, and if so, was this a difficult part of your conversion?
6) What are your thoughts about the belief that you are "God's chosen people?

I have had my dog for a year now and when I got her I was told her Mom was a Chihuahua and her dad was a Min Pin (both registered) I have always said she is a Chihuahua/Min Pin mix, but my sister and brother in law seem to think she had dauchsund in her, b/c is long in length. Are some dogs just longer bodied than others? Her girth is 15" and she is 14" long (neck to tail) I just said I figured her mom was a long haired Chihuahua. Please tell me what you think:

My husband and I are going to Orlando for a week and only have one day to visit one of the theme parks there. I'm not interested in kiddie rides....I 'm more interested in roller coasters and such. i am swithching to public school from private. i have checked the curriculm and i have been doing that stuff since like third grade and i'm in seventh. i was wondering if i could be homeschooled for a year and do two grades in one. then the next year swith to public again and be in the 9th grade i live in alabama can i still do this. i talked to my moms friend and she said you had to stay in homeschooling if you were to do that. is that true? i think it isnt because i asked this question once before and i want to double check. please someone answer i'm desperate and loosing time. thank you so much

As an educator/tutor I believe it is my responsibilty to provide a variety of opinions (pros and cons if you will) for my students. I feel this provides them a broader understanding of world situations and also to make their own decisions. Why should I be punished for doing so? I've been raised jewish my entire life, in a community full of christians. I've been trying to explore other religions, and the reasons people believe in them. However, I cannot seem to grasp why so many people believe in Christianity. I understand that every religious theory attracts someone, but I can't imagine why so many people choose to become or continue being christian. I am not critiscizing christianity at all, rather I would like to know some reasons why anyone who is christian and using Yahoo answers believes in christ/ the bible etc. It would eally help me to become more open minded and embrace my heavily christian neighbors.
