should have already seen a vet if the spine is already showing Depends on what you mean by the eye being watery as chis do "cry" but is it more than nrmal good chance it's sick.there also a reason for not eating and you need to watch for hypoglycemia
GET TO THE VETS RIGHT NOW OR FIND A HOME THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF HER CORRECTLY

Chihuahuas are just like other dogs in that they can be finicky or chow hounds. You need to cook for the little guy, they are too little to "let go until they learn to eat it" that thinking is futile with a finicky poor doer. Mix ground beef, powdered milk, oatmeal, peas and carrots and season with garlic salt. Watery eyes are normal for Chihuahuas they need the tears to keep the large bulbous eyes from getting dry.

He does need to see a vet. He can have allergies that can be making his eyes water. As far as the spine - it can be malnutrition or he can have a virus/disease - best to take him to be checked out. Hope he turns out ok.

My chihuahua is the exact same way and the vet says she's healthy. They said that she's just small and wiry and it's normal. But my dog is also the runt of her litter.

He needs to eat more. Offer him some other foods to tempt him to eat. Even hot dogs would be better than nothing. Just get him to eat.

either stop petting you dog so hard or s/he maybe malnurished, my chihuahua was fairly obese and you could still feel his spine when petting him, he was healthy and everything just you could feel it, you still may need to take him/her to a vet though just to make sure.

poor dog... take him to the vet. you should be able to barely see the ribs for optimal body condition -- they should NOT be poking out, nor should they be covered in fat either.
