My mother had a pulmonary embolism and died for a few minutes. She was recessitated, but layed in a coma for 2 weeks. What happened to her soul?? Was her soul intact in heaven or was she in limbo of some sort, because she suffered parts of her brain being dead?

My grandfather has been predicting a stock crash for awhile now by telling me how things went about in the '20's and pointing out the simmilarities to whats happening now before they happen. Are we headed for another depression since people so easily forget history?

I took my cat to the ER last night because he was having diahrrea and a bit of vomiting. No fever or major lethargy though. After the exam they basically said they didn't know what was wrong with him: no parasites or worms, and no hard or painful abdomen, bloody stool, etc. Did not seem like anything major to them, they gave me an oral antibiotic to give him and see if it clears up. This was about 2am last night. this morning at 7am when I got up for work, I noticed he has been hiding behind the couch all night...I put a few bits of food in his dish (as the dr. at the ER said to feed him again, as normal). He trotted over to the dish, then had a few bites, was uninterested, and ran back under the couch. He is usually VERY social and it makes me very nervous that he's hiding under the couch and now has no appetite. Should I just wait a couple days to see if it changes, and if not take him back to my regular vet? Is this "hiding" behavior normal?

How do you make just part of the picture coloured?

Do you cut out (for example, like in Picture 1) just the ladybug from the original coloured photo and then add it to the now black and white photo with a new layer?

I have taken a lot of the good advice I have gotten from the cycling section here. I thought I wanted a hard tail mountain bike, but after doing a lot of test riding, I am leaning more towards getting a hybrid. I know I do not want a road bike. I want a bike I can ride on mainly pavement and some mild mannered dirt paths, mainly for exercise and enjoyment. How do the quality of the compenents compare on these bikes? From test riding, the 7.6 FX is definitely faster, but the Trek 7700 was more comfortable. Anyone have any experience with either of these bikes? I also read a lot about Cannondales and like their bikes. Is there a comparable Cannondale to the 7700 or 7.6 FX I should consider? Thanks much!

She came to me last month, and said 'We need to cut down our expenses, you're spending £100 a week on vodka and its got to stop, we can't afford it and its no good for you!'
So I have, not a drop since, as that what she wants.
Anyway, I was getting something out of her handbag yesterday and on top was a receipt for cosmetics for nearly £90.
I said to her ' Oi, what's this!, I thought we were supposed to be cutting down our expenses!'
She said 'Thats different, thats so I can make myself look beautiful for you.
I said ' Thats what the bloody vodka was for!'

My 8 year old cat has been diagnosed with Diabetes. Until recently, he seemed to be perfectly healthy but then we saw certain signs like change in energy level and urination habits that made us concerned.

Since we began suspecting diabetes we put him on an all canned, all wet food diet - mostly Fancy Feast. After only a few days he has shown considerable improvement. But we do still believe that he has a problem.

I have read a lot about pills vs. injections and there is a body of opinion that says injections are the way to go. Some people think pills can harm certain organs in your cat.

Our Vet reccomends pills, but she also said she would be fine if we chose to use injections instead.

What should we do?

I would love to hear what other cat lovers and experts here think. What has your experience been with diabetes and what do you think is the best treatment to start with?

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 with 2GB of memory and the ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 video card. I know it probably wont play perfect but it is stuttering to much and I was wondering if I can improve that? ...how come is he not able to change the destiny of being crucified, knowing well that if the Romans manage to crucify him, then the charges the Pharisees and the Rabbis level against him that he is a false prophet is true then? Do you think it is enjoyable being crucified?

Even if he is not able to prevent being crucified, surely he can make God forgive Adam's sin for eating the apple, so that Christ himself doesn't need to be the crucified victim? And Christ must be able to do this, cos isn't he the Son of God and God at the same time? Or is Christ unable to, cos he is not as powerful as God the Father? This is confusing...
