Did you watch the Democratic debate on Univision last night? The questions were asked in Spanish! The candidates had to stand there and wait for the English translation. To say that everyone of them looked awkward was an understatement.

I will vote against any candidate who encourages business owners to break the laws of the U.S. by hiring immigrants at low wages and not paying the taxes they are required to submit to the government. The questions were supposed to be asked in spanish, and the answers in english. This is how it was set up. I can tell you they looked a lot less awkward than any repubican answering the same questions. Repubicans won't even go on univision for a debate. That tells me volumes about thier credibility.

I did watch for awhile, I do not speak Spanish but they the audience seem to like what they heard because they applauded wildly at the end of each answer. If you go to MiamiHerald.com you can read a English translation.
After they kissed each others butts, the first question was, "Will you promote Spanish as the second national language language of this country," and all agreed, so the purpose of the debate was grounded in this question. The Dem's are going to bankrupt us, they promised if elected to pass immigration reform, ( which translates to amnesty) free college for all, bilingual education, free health care, and being 1 in 12 homes that are being foreclosed on are Hispanics households, some type of aid, and more foreign aid to Latin American, being we are spending that money on the war. So basically we are to become a social welfare state for the all and especially to the Latinos who can have a separate country just for them in Spanish

maximum unfriendly is unquestionably Tancredo, when you consider that his entire marketing campaign is in keeping together with his unfriendliness to unlawful immigrants. Ron Paul needs to take a strict line on the border, yet might help a significant improve in criminal immigration if the welfare state have been chopped right down to length. a number of of the Democrats - fairly all of them different than Dodd - plus John McCain are approximately the two friendly.

Isn't your President the Chief Promotor of Amnesty for illegals?

Does the Spanish speaking broadcast go out only to illegals?
Or do some citizens of the U S A speak Spanish?

the problem is that ALL the 08 candidates, the current president, and ALL presidents in the last 30 years have pandered to illegal immigrants.

so whats the alternative? don't vote at all or vote for a 3rd party.

I have 2 words. HELL NO! This is the ONLY reason John McCain will NOT receive my vote.

hander down there below me, Democrats won't go on Fox News for a debate, and Fox News is an American News Station, that makes me question their creditability!

Democrats are VERY good at losing elections!
This is one of the main reasons for that.
I can't believe they would come out and actually say that stuff!
Talk about Political Suicide!
Ninety five percent of Americans are against illegal immigration and they want to go against that?
Sheesh! "STOOPID!"

Tancredo, Ron Paul, and Hunter have the most conservative voting records on immigration.

Of these three, Ron Paul has the best chance of winning the Primary election.
Paul's campaign has almost 5 times as much money to spend as Tancredo.

No, but I may not have a choice in 2008........

I didn't know there was a debate and don't know what Univision is. Is there a reason the Democrats like to debate in such obscure forums?.............

Bush has been pandering to them for over 7 years, and he and the Republicans are the "DIRECT" reason nothing has been done about immigration as you are the ones that hire them illegally as slave labor for the most part!
