I was baptized and view myself as a victim. My parents forced me to go to sunday school to talk about the bible, of which I now believe to be a well written book of philosophy, rather than actual truth.

My civil rights were violated against and for years I was forced to believe in something that I didn't believe in.

This leads to the question. Is it right for an individual to be forced by their parents to believe in something during adolescense?

Why not wait until they grow up and are able to decide for themselves?

Doesn't this violate a individuals right to freedom of religion?

Do they have baptismals for the same reasons cigarette corporations put advertisements at eye level for children?

Do they do this to get them "hooked" on religion?

I have been eating lots of healthy fruits and vegetables, but for some reason I have been very tired lately. I don't eat any meat or anything else that is unnatural, so I know that is not it. Any suggestions?

What effect has it had on you? I was little when it happened. probly 9 years old... My dad gets to go to work on 9-11 and he has to get on one of those big bowing 747s...and im scared to see him get on the big plane...i've always been scared of planes....but 9-11 made a HUGE impact on me...what effect has it had on you?

I have decided that this is the laptop that suits me. I am not a heavy PC gamer. But I love that it has 200Gigs HDD, HD DVD player, 2 Gigs or RAM. But I am not digging the CPU. Is it possible to upgrade to like 2.0 or higher GHz? I also plan on getting a better battery, because the battery life for this is poor. Maybe if it's possible, upgrading the Video Card... But I just don't play PC games. I mean, Oblivion is probably the heaviest graphic game I own and I just don't play it anymore.

So, can you help me find out where I can customize this? The Toshiba Website won't let me, atleast what I see.

A bit funny really, I am having since the last 3 months 2 SP episodes a week, one week it was 7 SP episodes. Only thing is, alot of it isn't really actually Sleep Paralysis at all, I don't feel like something is sitting on my chest, infact sometimes if my brother turns the light on in my room when I'm asleep I immediately wake up, yet If the episode was pleasant I found myself naturally talking, laughing and moving my body into a sitting up position of sorts yet I know fully well I'm going to be hallucinating for another minute or so (this can get pretty amusing! I sometimes wave hello with my hand). I wonder if there is something else going on, I don't freeze up unless its 'frightening' but when It's not I find moving and everything easy, I can't find anywhere on the web this distinguishment.

I want to make a cave for my fish. I'd like to use somenthing creative but know that I could also contaminate the water if I use something that leeches into the water. I know my aquarium-safe gravel is painted with latex. So, can I use latex paint to coat a rock or something and use that in the tank?

I'm LDS, and I don't really make a big deal about it to people because I know a lot of people are hostile and not open to hearing it. So I got a new job a couple of months ago on the recommendation of an acquantance who didn't know I was LDS. I'm a hard worker and am doing a good job.

Anyway, my religion came up last night on a business trip. We talked about who we're supporting for President and I told him I was for Mitt Romney. He told me that Mitt "hates Jesus" and is a blasphemer who's going to hell. I didn't want to get into an argument but I did say that I didn't agree and that I think members of the Church love Jesus Christ.

He asked me if I was Mormon, and started asking me about it. I ended up sharing my testimony with him and telling him a little about Mormonism. To make a long story short he was very rude to me and told me I'm going to hell unless I repent and join a "Bible-believing" church. How will I face this guy every day?

I talked to a coworker wife about my situation (see aditional details) and she told me that i can run away from home once and the police will bring me back, but if i run away again then i have basicly emancipated myself and my family no longer has control of me and the police wont bring me back (i live in north carolina by the way) is this true? if not what can i do?

I drive the car once or twice a year. Today after 15 minutes of driving the transmission slipped. I continued to drive it and it didnt slip again. The Trans was rebuilt about 12 years ago and has approx 5000 miles on it. Could the transmission be going bad or is it just due to inactivitity? Will driving it a bit correct that by lubricating everything or is this something worse to come? It doesnt leak a drop and is full of fluid
