my cousin was applying for a tourist visa but addmitted during the interview that she overstay for more than 365 days and was banned to enter the us for 10 years.can she apply for waiver I-212?she received threats for her life thats why she decided not to go home...

she has documents to prove that shes not safe to stay in her country,only she did not present the documents to the consul during the interview...

sounds really convienent to me

threats in her country so she can't go home. she shouldve claim refuge status? ur cousin really needs needs to smarten up if she wants to survive in this world

If she receives threats in her own country then she needs to contact the police in (that) country.

You can apply for anything, but that doesn't mean you will get it. I find it doubtful that a 10 year ban will be overridden.

The US Immigration won't care of excuses.

She can go to court to file a "restraining order"
