Sometimes I watch cartoons and marvel at some of the subtleties and innuendo. It would take a pretty bright child to catch some of those meanings.

And they were violent. Poor Wile E. Coyote got flattened so many times, yet he popped right back up, ready for another rock to fall on him.

I think if children nowadays were to see some of those old cartoons we all loved so dearly, they'd have nightmares.

(They've been brought up in a sanitized world that has no bearing on reality.)

ok ive been talking to this guy the situa. is weird though we cant be real freinds /lovers so its casual. we IM eachother alot & talk about everything
we wanna hook up &we talked about how many people we have been w/ i initially lied because i havent been w/ alot of people --he clamied to be with alot of people hes 27 im 21-- + i am fat and self concious BUT i mostly dont have sex not because its not availible-& belive it or not im not ugly- but because guys suk at it and thats the truth . he said "look im not stupid, i know u arent comfortable with your body so i know u havent had sex that much, ive been with girls like u (meaning fat) before so i kinda know that" he basically assumed i was a mutant---well hes seen me in person 2x's & he said i was cute and weve even kissed -he intiated it--- but im still pissed. hes been nice to me or whatever but hes always sending me mixed signals &**** he said "damn im sorry i didnt mean it that way & your being too sensitve i4got u were

I am a single mom of 2 kids ages 3 and soon to be 5. I love my kids dearly, but I am stressed! I am working it seems like 20 hrs a day. Between selling houses, online business, and the family responsibilites I am about to loose my mind. When I hit the door everyday my kids begin screaming at me that they are hungry and will ask me the same thing 10 times in 30secs.My son talks so loud people think he has a hearing problem, but he doesnt have any type of diability. My daughter is so mean sometime and I have no idea why. My kids are wonderful they are loving and very bright. For some reason they only really act like this with me.The screaming and crying ahs got to stop! I have never let them run me over but im getting tired. My mom has MS, my kid sister is pregnant, I am facing cervical cancer, and i broke up with my boyfriend of 21/2 yrs. were still friends, but I do miss him. I feel like running away. My sons dad has been mia for 3+yrs and my daughters dad lives 4states away. Im tired.

i have been feeding 2 stray cats out my back and discoverd 2 lovely baby kittens...i continued to fed the mother by bringing the bowl over to the nest...or what ever. but when i went to see thm the other day both of them where dead and the mother has not been seen since???did she sence human off the bowl and regect them :( im really sad over it and hope i didnt cose their death... am i to blaim

I mean, CNN, Fox News, Newspapers, everything that you see in it is allowed to be published or broadcasted. I just wonder how many stories, international events and significant social events go swept under the rug, or portrayed in a way to simply pusuade the public into one point of view? Sometimes it seems we are being controlled on a mass scale.

I've seen a lot of questions on here regarding dark gums...

Pigmentation of the gums (dark color seen at the gingiva) is generally physiological (normal) depending on the person's race. African Americans present more pigmentation, thus gums may have a darker color, especially in some areas. This is generally seen symmetrically (present both in right and left sites).

Sometimes, darker color may happen due to a foreign body. It generally occurs due to amalgam restoration materials staying around following tooth extraction, etc. [It looks like a tattoo.]

And sometimes, they may be related to a local pathology affecting melanin-releasing cells
It may also be related to systemic health problems, especially related to blood cells. Thus, I recommend you visit a pedodontist (dentist with a speciality in children's oral health) if you do not have African American, Mediterranean, Asian, etc. background and/or if the color changes are newly noticed and/or if the color change is not symmetrical.

The brilliant Rosa Luxemburg was so blessed with talent that she could have made her mark in a number of areas other than the political arena; one of those areas was the world of art.

An intellectual who was an accomplished artist as well as the most powerful Socialist writer of her generation, Luxemburg was expected to contribute to the literature of art critique, but in fact did little. Her position was that one should confront art personally, rather than accept another's opinion. She felt that good art naturally recommended itself to the viewer and required no endorsement.

She did, however, have preconceived ideas about what constituted good art, and her tastes were thoroughly conventional. In short, she expected that good art--in her appraisal of it--had the power to speak to individuals in a way that poor art did not. The idea of art as subjective was foreign to her.

So, what do you think? Are there clearly established values of art? Is art appreciation subjective?

She's nearly 7. She seems to be very defiant. Behaviour that she knows I dislike she imitates all the time, like she's taunting me. Things I've told her she shouldn't do (like crying like a baby with her mouth wide open) because it's inappropriate, she keeps doing, right in my face. I've tried everything and she just won't listen.
I'm quite strict, she doesn't get her own way, she's not spoilt. This is behaviour she's had since she was tiny, and nothing works. In every other way she's lovely. But she seems to have a thing about anything naughty, irritating or anything her mother doesn't like. She deliberately takes the other side when I talk about stuff (if I say 'I don't like this road, it's too bendy', she'll say 'I like it, I like bends'. Stuff like that, and worse, all the time.) She picks the most annoying things that the most annoying person does, and she does that thing all the time.
Any ideas?

I received my paystubs and it shows that my employer has deducted time I have worked while clocked in to keep me under 40 hours. (ie:) I clock in at 9am till 5:42pm and next to it it says that it was modified to 9am-5:30pm although i worked till 5:42pm. is this legal?

I am in litigation as plaintiff pro se in a car accident . I am disable becuase of accident but judge granted attorney fees for defense. Motion hearing was dated and defense attorney never appeared to court. Judge ask to wait 10 min or the case was mine. He gave them additional 10 min. Then sent me home. Now defense attorney rescheduled another hearing date.

I posted a question earlier and got responses that it wasn't. Here is the direct medical transcript info from the MRA.

"The kidneys appeared normal with normal cortical thickness bilaterally. There were no abnormalities of the celiac, SMA, IMA, or common iliac arteries. There was evidence of bilateral dependent lower lobe atelectasis, more pronounced on the left."

I am just confused about the transcript. I will surely ask at her appt.

If anyone has any other info on this..thanks.

I want to get a tattoo on my left arm, (I have one on my right shoulder blade, and one on my right bicep, I want to kind of balance it out) so I've been thinking about like a black chain around my forearm, just below the elbow. Any thoughts?
