So what are you going to do? Say no, and then he doesn't ask again? Let me tell you something...guys are just as ill at ease with this dating stuff as girls are. Actually, I think it's worse for a guy because they are expected to do the asking, and they have no guarantees that the girl would go out with them, or even likes them at all. They have to risk getting turned down, and maybe the girl making fun of him to all her girlfriends. So, if you like the guy, say yes when he asks you out, or he just might be too embarrassed to ask you again.

I would say yes straight away. However I'm old enough to not bother with playing games and worry about looking too eager. If you like him and he likes you then just say yes.
However just because you say yes straight away doesn't mean that you should act as a total doormat. Give as good as you get and I'm sure it will be happy and fulfilling for both of you. Good luck!

And that is incredibly misleading, he might think you don't like him and be discouraged.
Honesty is always the best option, so just say something like "I'd love to", it's not to eager but it shows him you want to go on a date with him.

You dont want to seem desprate, but if you really like him then go for it! Plus, the guy would be really happy if you gave him the yes answer right away.

You want to leave it long enough so you don't want to seem too eager, but in saying that you don't want to leave it too late or he may get bored and move on to another girl.
