Just seeing what everyone thinks?

Mom had an emergency surgery four months ago plus three set backs. Needs another major surgery to finish the first procedure once she is healthy enough. She is under 60 so does not qualify for medicare or medicaid. Applied for disability but that will take at least 3 mos to process, and if approved still won't be enough to meet the $3300/mo payment plan. Current monthly income is $911.00 from dad's social security. House is paid for but cannot get a reverse mortgage (too young) or a home equity loan (income too low). Parents have cashed in their IRAs and stocks (losing 40% in fees, penalties and taxes). NOTHING is left. About to be turned over to collection tho they've always had the best credit rating. Hospital has offered a 25% discount if they could pay the entire initial bill, but there wasn't enough stock/IRA money to cover even that.

Can we get the bill down to what an insurance company would pay for the same services? How do I find out what are "customary and reasonable fees"?

1. Are mollies and cory cats compatibitle?

I have a guy who wants me to be down right freaky. What all can you do in a car? Is it talking dirty? What would a guy want a girl to do to him that would blow his mind? I know a few things just need some help on what more to do. He says he is a freak and i want to see what a freak he is.

And finally, yes, the question of full chimeras or uplifted animals is still hypothetical, (even if the embryonic research IS NOT) but if we can create the embryo, then really, the only thing stopping us from growing a full human-animal hybrid is essentially the law and ethical considerations. So again, what kind of rights should such an individual have, cause if we can do it, sure as nuts somebody, somewhere is going to break the laws around genetic tampering with humans and grow some mutants.

I took the parts out of my old computer and put them in another case and now i only get a white screen. this has never happend to me before so im not sure what it could be. i know its not the monitor cause i use it for my other computer..any suggestions would help..thanks alot!!!!

I have a five week old kitten who was rescued from a very young boy who was going to keep her in his care. We commandeered the kitten. So now we have her and she has ringworm from her little nose to her little toes. Her belly hair has fallen out and she has bald spots on her back and sides. I am not posting this to get people to react in a sick way and tell me to put her to sleep etc, I am however posting this to ask those of you who are sane and have a good mind and heart about you to aid me in this journey to cure this little beauty of her ails. I have taken her to the vet and they have given her lime sulphur dip, medication shampoo, and glucofluvin(spelling). They did not however provide any answers as to how often I can bathe and how long to leave the shampoo on etc. I went to look up these products and most are toxic to kittens that young. I'm not asking for ideas from people I am asking for your experience and facts only please. All good people are welcome to answer. Tiahui !

How many of you believe Healthcare is a right?

If you dont believe it is a right, then how do you account for the unfairness of a child receiving different healthcare from another child just because their parents have different insurance, or maybe no insurance at all.

And dont tell me its an extreme example that is the type of situation you are advocating if you follow your belief through to its logical conclusions

I believe that in a democracy where we are taxed a considerable amount, healthcare and education are RIGHTS. This is not a concept we move back from.

Any thoughts?

Zero isnt a counting number. By combining 0 with all the counting numbers you form whole numbers. They are represented by 0,1,2,3...

QUESTION:

I have connected my LG 29-inch TV as a second display for my PC using a S-Video cable with a four-pin SVideo connectors on both ends. My PC has a Geforce FX5500 AGP card. I play a movie on the PC, then send it to the TV using the UltraMon app, picture quality is quite good.

While the video plays fine, there is no audio. I've tried various audio cables (4, each 10 meters in length) but the audio doesn't happen. I am really desperate now because if this doesn't work, the Rs. 5000 (about $100) will go down the drain. The audio slots available on the TV and PC are:

* PC: 3; Blue, Green and Pink(in order)
* TV: 3; Yellow, White and Red (in order)


If this info doesn't help much, let me kno0w and I will post photos of the audio slots on the TV and PC.

Right now I'm behaving like a small child who starts howling if the sand castle breaks even before it is finished.

Please help out this novice.
