On labor day, I was welcomed with 5 newborn kittens in my TV cabinet, much to my surprise. It's been around 4 days and two hours ago I noticed that one of the kittens has a swollen, red eye. They have not opened their eyes yet, so I'm not sure if my vet (whom, by the way, is a new doctor for my pets and I) can prescribe eye drops for his unopened eye. I've scheduled an appointment with the vet tomorrow, but I'm very worried. I have found no help on the internet yet; could anyone provide me with some information?

Is this possibly an eye infection? Are newborn kittens commonly affected with such a thing? Should my kitten be okay with such a massive, swollen eye until tomorrow afternoon? Is it anything to really worry about?

I'm very anxious, and this will be plaguing me throughout the day until I can get him/her to the vet. :(

Edit: Someone suggested one of it's brothers or sisters might have scratched in the eye! Will this cause any permanent damage?

He was never not once ever been there 4 me when I needed him. And now am almost 17 and he is really sick and I don't care am I a evil ***** or what. Does anyone have any good ideas on what kids would like to get when they go trick or treating besides candy? I know, I know, kids want the candy but I really need some alternative views (don't worry I still plan on using candy!)
Do you think kids would like to get $.50 or something along those lines? Or maybe a small craft kit...I really just need ideas to bring to a group. Thanks in advance!

I asked my old man a while ago about who he thought Jesus Christ really was and he didn't seem to quite know the answer.

He said to me, "Wasn't he that joker who walked through the desert with a cross tattooed on his back?"

I'd be quite interested to learn about what you think on this matter. Was my father right or was Jesus really somebody who had an important connection to God who had come along to save every member of mankind from themselves and each other so that everyone might have a chance at everlasting life?

I currently use windows XP and wish to wipe everything and start again using windows XP pro. I'm reformatting because my computer is quite buggered with me not being able to download anything or install anything with somesort of error. I also have a virus and windows XP pro would be a nice update.

When putting in the windows XP pro CD it tells me that my current version of windows is newer than the CD and it wont install. I've deleted the update thing (i think its called SG2?) in my control panel -> add/remove programs but that didn't work.

I tried right clicking my C drive and hitting format but there are always programs running, even when I tried it in safe mode. Shutting them down does nothing.

I've tried setting my computer (in BIOS) to start up from the disk but it doesn't work.

I'm SOL and don't know what to do next. Help is appreciated.

I've got 33k in credit card debt spread out over five cards of varying interest rates with balances between 4500 and 11,500. Each month I pay the minimum plus the finance charge on each card. Am I better off continuing this practice or taking the accumulated finance charge of all cards and applying it to one card to pay that one down faster?

My concern is that while paying down one card the others will accumulate at an insane rate and leave me worse off in the long run.

My husband and I had a huge blowout 3 days ago. Actually he just went off about how sick and tired he is of being here with me and the kids. He said he was leaving but he keeps coming home. We have been talking about seperating lately so I have ever reason to think he is serious. It isn't about the money because we have an empty rental property he can move into and he has plenty of cash in his seperate account. He has apologized but when I asked him why he is still here he says, don't worry he is leaving. My question is whether this behavior seems normal? If he is going, why does he keep coming back looking sad? And is it too soon for me to be shopping around for a divorce attorney?

I never said I wanted him to leave but I am sick and tired of everytime he gets upset he threatens to leave. A person can only take so much. Other than his lack of control over his anger, we have no other issues.

The fight had nothing to do with me (as usual) he was upset about something at work but I am always his whipping post when he is upset.

The cameras keep getting lots more megapixels but it seems to me that more isn't necessarily better unless you're going to blow up to poster size. My needs are for computer/tv display and for the occasional print.
